Like our friend Sparrow I am also in the middle of downtown Toronto, and have the day booked off work. I've already got an assistant (the Mrs.) for this one so I'm really hoping we get the clues narrowed down beforehand.

I'm ready to hit the ground running if need be: my cell phone is ready and the camera is charged.

-No JFK hospitals (lots of affiliates in the hospitals though), and Kennedy road is the only real namesake about.
-If it's a bank we can get there quickly, and I'm going nuts trying to draw any inference from the half-dollar, the number 50, and JFK.
-If it's the trailer we have a couple of IMAX theatres nearby.

It's good to see we've got a few members in the area to cover more ground.

yeah, probably, but that's the Joker's handwritin' on the thing, and the guy who posted is probably a high-up on movie-web to drum up support.

Ah damn, I wanted to be involved.. but that explains a bit more as to why there's only 12 places listed and not like 30 or 50. "To find out where you need to be" so that proves it's a location with these guys, which is still confusing because there's so many things for all these people in various places.

Like I said, I am going to operate under the assumption that this is someone trying to pull a fast one until someone else shows up with the same package.

There are too many joker-phone holders on this board for one of them to not have posted about this today, plus, the delivery was Fed-Ex in the guy's post, while I think most deliveries have been with DHL thus far. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but for now I'm treating this as a hoax.

Why only 12 people? This game was started with text messages sent to viral phones. Every viral phone comes with a Joker card. So in essence this might be a game just for us viral phone holders. That's potentially 70+ people.

The reason why this guy got a package is pretty clear. With the package he can give details about his experience to his visitors. I wouldn't be surprised if other sites got packages too and we just haven't heard about them yet. The reason why he got it today was because the event is on Monday and they probably figured he needed an advance notice to prepare for it. Plus packages are not shipped on Saturday and Sunday.

Personally, I wished it wasn't on a week day. I have to work on a weekday and driving to Dallas (if that's really one of the places) takes me 5 hours to get there. Hopefully 42 are smart enough to know that some of us new winners might not be real close to one of these cities and will give us some fair warning.

yeah, but 12 cities, that's the gist of it. and only 8 american cities... that doesn't seem like a really broad thing, unless... of course, with the original game, they move from screen to screen, adding more cities.

I think all of the Operation Slipknot packages were sent via FedEx. Mine was. Also, this looks like a simple package for website or movie reviewers. Meaning those that don't play the ARG. I don't think us Joker phone holders will get this package. It was received today because they didn't want them receiving it yesterday and it can't be shipped over the weekend.
