Not to be a dick or anything (meaning, I'm going to be a dick), but what exactly is there to be proud of? Did they have to go through 12 trials that may have caused their demise to achieve this position?

I'm proud of them as people--these individuals all have great character and I believe they'll exercise great judgement in their new roles here. Some of them I kinda look at like cybernetic little brothers and sister. Am I a bit biased? Yes. But I speak from first-hand experience because I've monitored their behavior and the way they've mediated through issues with other users over the years. Think about it: Out of the THOUSANDS of users we have active here, they've been selected. That's something to crow about and I believe they deserve it. Some of my most favorite (and closest) net peeps here are now in red and that makes me happy.
