New Thunderbolts?

Eh, the government is their enemy to an extent. Mainly, their enemies are heros. Primarily the heros that are anti-reg.

but the goverment is there enemy and being who they are they wouldnever team up with an nenemy unless they HAD to.
Plus there F***ing carzy.

I still say the government is hardly their enemy. And to get paid, with NO consequences to accidentally kill those they hate more than anything? I'd say they'd be chomping at the bit.

YES he was completely uncontrolled thats why he was able to kill people.

After they said that with all the controls in place, he should've been totally under control?

well, im not exactaly sure, but i know that he didnt have a restraint to kill.
and i KNOW that he didnt have the same restraints as the t-bolts.

Actually, he was restrained from killing. But he did it anyway.

No not really, its a dream deal. Their slates get cleaned and they get to hunt down heroes on the right side of the law, they are basically doing what they did before but legally this time. Gargan, Osborn and Bullseye are all smart men they know this is a huge oportunity to get back at the heroes etc. so they arent going to be too against it.

Totally agree, but technically the heroes are on the wrong side of the law. They are seizing the opportunity to legally hunt down and jail there enemies, and I'm sure if push comes to shove they might have the opportunity to kill some of there enemies too(we all know that wont happen though) like Foggy said these men arent stupid, they have an deal in front of there face that they cant pass up. And like Mistress Gluon said the government is also there enemy but not as much as Spider-Man (GG,Venom) or Daredevil (Bullseye). The government is willing to cut a deal with these villians, Spidey, Devil, Cap, Pun, would never cut a deal with villians.

are u seroius? when could norman osborn have killed spidey? spiderman as never given him the chance. spider man can kick the green golblins ass. and i dont seem to understand how they can be prisoners if there not in jail. did the goverment capture them and then force them to be part of operation t-bolt? i would think that the likes of, venom , green golbin, and bulseye would give up more of a fight that what they portarayed!

The very first time he found out his secret ID. He caught him, and tied him to a chair, then did his little maniacal super villain Speech, giving Spidey time to escape, cause a fire, which resulted in Norman being knocked out and getting amnesia.

yeah cuz norman is a dumb a**

The New Thunderbolts! Justice like Pumpkin Bombs!

I do find it interesting that the New Team Line up doesn't consist of anything but the most thoroughly unfit for any kind of military (black ops or otherwise) duty that could possibly be assigned to someone.

Norman Osbourne and Bullseye are, combined, quite literally the closest thing to the Joker in the Marvel Universe. I've got to ask, when will Carnage join the team because a team consisting of him, Green Goblin, and Bullseye would actually result in Hell opening up to swallow them.

When everyone kept bringing up what a good thing that they didn't have Venom (Eddie Brock) on the team, the weirdest thing was that Eddie Brock actually is a BETTER choice than the Scorpion. Eddie at least has a twisted sense of justice. He's cruel, evil, and murderous but that doesn't mean he doesn't actually want to stop the bad guy.

Also, another thing, WHY HASN'T EDDIE BROCK TAKEN THE SUIT BACK YET? I don't care how long the Scorpion has it...he's not Venom!

Another comment I have that's tasteless. Moonstone and Songbird are Yummy!

Justice, Like Lightning. Get it right.

The Thunderbolts aren't a military unit nor a black ops unit. People think that they are a superhero team even though they aren't. The government just wants powerful people to hunt down unregistered superheroes. And they have nanomachines in their bloodstream in order to keep them under control.

Carnage won't join the team. Being dead kind of hampers him of doing pretty much anything.

Because Eddie Brock doesn't have the Venom symbiote. Scorpion does.

Eddie Brock is due to become Venom very soon in the Spectacular Spider-Man

Creepy

Actually, that was what we refer to as "Parody." In this case, this is not Mach IV and Songbird's team of B-list villains seeking redemption. This is a bunch of evil doers that make mockery of everything the heroes stood for.

Much like US Agent's short stint as Captain America, we're SUPPOSED to hate these guys.

Yes, I rather got that but I hope that this book isn't going to continue to be nothing more than an extension of Civil War. I, for one, would actually like to see the heroes (and I use the term loosely) actually face other villains on occasion.

Oh, like that's ever stopped Carnage before!

Because Eddie Brock doesn't have the Venom symbiote. Scorpion does.

For now.

Thanks!

Something to look forward to.

Not really. The photorealistic Songbird in 111# was very attractive.

That's why I think that this team isn't going to last very long. First of all, Eddie Brock will be Venom again soon. Second, Norman Osborn is going crazy wanting to go after Spider-Man. Third, this whole idea is just screaming to blow up in the government's face.

Oh, like that's ever stopped Carnage before!

That's pretty dead if you ask me :o

You're welcome.

Still creepy.

Well, I think its fairly obvious that the Suicide Squad of the Marvel Universe isn't going to last very long in its present form. The reason the original Suicide Squad worked is that the majority of members weren't hard core psychopaths but we're largely willing to work within the system even if they were pretty damn evil.

Norman Osbourne, Venom, and Bullseye are all guys who have to go for a stable team and that removes a very interesting dynamic from the union. Sadly, a lot of Spiderman's B-listers were slaughtered in Punisher War Journal. I would have enjoyed seeing Doctor Octopus match wits with some of these clowns and so on.

If you ask me, what's going to happen is either the "rotating supervillain" format changes and Songbird gets promoted/goes rogue or a likeable group of team members will be formed in the midst of all of this (Swordsman doesn't look like he's going to be much in the way of it) before going rogue like they were originally.

And I remind you that Carnage was once petrified by the Silver Surfer ;-)
