Okay what is the point of this? It just looks like a converted PS2 controller

nyko (a company making Nintendo-type products... think "madcatz") is making their own version of the classic controller that Nintendo already has out... that's all. It's not new, it's just a different brand of an existing product already produced by Nintendo.

yeah Im talking about combining the Wiimote with the classic controller. Not getting the point of it

Maybe so they could make the classic controller wireless(unless it already is, I dont have a Wii yet)?

It's so that the Wiimote doesn't dangle in your lap and/or utilize the Wiimote's motion sensing in original VC games.

well they do have those connectors in the back of the controller so i guess its for lame crap like this

As someone pointed out in the comments section, it adds rumble to the classic controller.
