2011 is coming and it's time to start thinking about the kind of men and women we will be evolving into next year. So what are your personal goals and aspirations for 2011?

Personally, one of my top No. 1 priorities is to increase my presence on Superherohype.com and most specifically the forums I've been assigned to manage. I've been gone for several months in dealing with personal issues and traveling for my firm and I miss you guys. :( But now that things are calming down, it's time for me to once again fully immerse myself into the Hype populace. I can't even remember the last time I launched a meaningful thread here and I miss helping out. :csad: So that's gotta change.

The other things I want to resolve to improve on are my working relationships with my staff, my physique (an ongoing goal) and to greater enjoy my relationship with my beau (we are contemplating selling both of our places and getting a new place together, which...I'm a little skurred of (independence issues).

Oh, and not miss one single episode of V!

What about you guys and gals?

Piss on less stuff when I'm drunk.

It's actually at it's worst right now. I'd like to be able to pass out, and not wake up to piss covered comics, laptops, shoes, laundry.

So, I guess my resolution is going to be drink less. (That doesn't sound fun at all.)

Try to consume 5000-10,000 calories in one day.

Nah just **** and giggles to horrify a few people, and because I can get away with it. Probably need a lot of toilet paper during that week.

I also wanna feel how much Overeem eats a day.

To get in better shape.

I don't want any health complications and I'd like my grandmother to see me doing well before she passes on.

I thought you died in a tragic wheel of fortune accident, LS?

Umm...I have to think of mine. But go back to school, get a better job, and move out, all high up there.

LS, why would you spend more time here, if you have personal commitments to sort through? There is nothing wrong with time off

Aren't New Years Resolutions kind of a meaningless gesture, since most people pick the goal every year and forget all about it within a month? Sure it's all "I'm gonna lose some weight" on January 1st, but you're eating an entire large pizza and drinking a 6-pack of beer by January 20th.

If you're gonna set a goal for yourself, don't pick some arbitrary date like the first of the year to start it. Buckle down and resolve to do something when you're ready to resolve to do it.

-I'd like to get more muscular. Im skinny now, but I wanna get bigger.
-Also try and get a job
-Try and finish one of the many script ideas I have

i'm fairly good at resolutions. i achieve more than i dont, so they're more goals than anything else

that being said:

* since it's 2011, i'd like to lose at least 11 lbs lol
* pay off at least one credit card

that's my main goals for now

My new year's resolution is to finally start living my own life. I feel like I'm living for everyone else and also letting my fears control me.

Should I be worried you're a mod then?

I would like redemption for all the troubles I've inflicted on my family.

To kick some butt in grad school. I dont want this semester to be a fluke.

Make a plan. Avoid bodybuilding routines, especially anything with bicep curls in them. Learn about nutrition. I'd suggest Stronglifts 5x5. Following that program I gained 30lbs in six months last year, from 145 to 170.

Pfft... resolutions are for people who aren't already perfect...

ALong with this, I've never understood why we need to have days like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Remembrance Day, etc. It's probably because I've always been against symbolic/ceremonial things, but isn't it better to keep these things in your mind as part of your normal life than to have some arbitrary date set aside to saying you're going to quit <insert bad habit here>? Respecting veterans (or whoever) and keeping them in mind throughout the year is far more meaningful than taking a day to 'honour' them.

Modest in speech, superior in action.

I thought you died in a tragic wheel of fortune accident, LS?

I did.

But as always, I've dug my way up and out of the ground to the Hype's surface. I'm worse than Jean...you guys will never be able to truly get rid of me.

Evar.

I agree with you.

But, I took off pretty much this entire year, when you think about it. And I was shocked (and so thankful) that Mirko didn't drop me like a bad habit during my long sabbatical (that's the benefit of having a large mod-team like we do now). I've managed to sort through most of my s*** and now it's time to spend more time here.

Besides, Thor and Captain America are coming this spring. Since I'm co-manager of those forums I definitely intend on being in the mix because it will get crazy. And there's X-Men: First Class too, but I don't care about that much. :)

And last but certainly most importantly...there's Community. So yeah...I need to have a greater Hype voice in 2011.

^^ do tell.
