New York!

There's an IMAX in Union Square? I was at an AMC for Tribeca Film Festival in Union Square and it could no way have had an IMAX screen.

There is a Union Sq in Baltimore, Maryland with an IMAX.

I am well familiar with taking the 1 train to 66th and walking the rest of the way to Lincoln Square....2 minutes.

I love Midtown Comics that's where I go to pick up my comics every week. That place is great and the people are really nice...plus every 100 bucks you spend you get 20 bucks in store credit

When I visited there last November, I went to this exhibition called "Bodies". It's a tour of all the systems in the human body using real humans. It's a lil disturbing at first, but I'm really glad I went.

Fascinating stuff.

Bodies is also a great place to stab people in public. No one ever notices.

(Casino Royale :cwink:)

Well, you just missed Keifer Sutherland get arrested for headbutting a civilian in Tribeca. Watching the paparazzi unfold as he turned himself in around the police station was a highlight of my work day.

I know there's one other than at the Natural History Museum. Pretty sure it's downtown and at 14th Street...unless it went someplace else.

Thanks guys! I can't wait to get on the plane. The Museum OF Natural History should that be on my list?

I would say it's one of the top museums to visit next to the Met(ropolitan Museum of Art). If you dig learning more about the city there is the Museum of the City of New York on the Upper West Side that's pretty awesome. So is the International Center for Photography (near Radio City Musical Hall) and MOMA (MUseum of Modern Art).

In other words, whatever floats your boat.

The only good thing about NYC is Midtown comics.

If you have a bit of spare scratch kicking around and a few people to go with who also have extra, I recommend dropping by a resturant called "Ninja". You are taken.....well, here, see for yourself.

You're served by ninjas, when walking in, you're attacked by ninjas...it's ninjalicious!

That looks fun, it's just the 2 of us. Is it an expensive restaurant? I never had Japanese food (other than cheap sushi), but as a dutch guy I love raw fish...hering anyone?

Depending on where you normally eat, it would be expensive to most.

However, when it comes to spending money...do it...life is too short.

It's more expensive than, say, Golden Corral or Longhorn Steak House. It's not TOO horrible, though. Last year, our party of 15 ended up spending about $1350, including food, drinks, and full bottles of saki.

Went to New York City yesterday for the day. Went to Barnes and Nobles. I ended up finding the comic section. Was anybody in there around noon?
Also ate at Sbarros Pizza place.

I'll tell you about all the NYC places I can't wait to go to :D

Shake Shack

Bamn

Not food, but you gotta go to MidTown Comics like Kenshin said. Love that place.

I went to NY back in March and I ****ing loved it there. First place you should visit is Midtown Comics right off of Times Square. My regular shop is very small, and only orders mainstream comics, so after walking up a staircase, covered with posters, then seeing a huge wall of comics, I almost fainted. Their trade selecetion is great, too, and the second floor is all busts and figures. The employees were very nice and knew their comics. I got to talk to the manager, Gerry Gladston, who was very down to earth. Also, you need to go biking through Times Square. If I ever get the money, I'm moving to Manhattan. I absolutely loved the Soho neighborhood.

So you go to NYC and eat pizza from a chain restaurant?

Um, there are quite a few b&ns in NYC. Unless you're specific, hard to reference where you were.

Make sure you take morphine prior to biking through Times Square so when a taxi hits you, you won't feel the pain on impact.

If you decide to move to Manhattan, make sure you bring an indoor money tree or golden goose for your first digs because living there is a tad expensive.
