Looks like the same ol' \S/ that's been used many times before. I doubt Snyder doesn't redesign the emblem at least slightly.

Actually, other than in the Superboy TV series and Smallville, this \S/ hasn't been used on any movie adaptation. So it can be added as a "new" symbol rendering in terms of the movies. It's the original \S/ and I LOVE IT!

I don't like it, they are taking away yellow color from "S" and replacing it with black, maybe they will take away yellow/ golden yellow belt and give Supes a black belt.

It looks bad.

The only reason he'd need to replace the yellow with black would be as a sign of mourning; in Kingdom Come he used that color scheme when Captain Atom's death decimated Kansas.

But looking at that pic and using it to imply that Superman will have that costume design in the new film is SERIOUSLY jumping the gun. Get a grip.

Ok, I'm not trying to be mean but like some other folks have said before that when we see this thread bumped we get a little excited for the prospect of new breaking NEWS only to open it and well...there is no news. So I'm suggesting this thread be closed and only have the mods unlock it once actual news has been revealed for discussion. I don't know how that would fly with others but it's just getting bogged down with nonsense. I know people will be like, "I can't post news if I hear of any!" All you have to do is simply contact a mod...they are EVERYWHERE!!!! Showtime and Jamie seem pretty easy to get a hold of so there you go. Just my suggestion...as stupid or as smart as it may be, take it for what it's worth
