You would think the promo art announcing the movie would have a little more power behind it. It looks cool and all but it doesn't really get me excited for the movie...and I would wager to guess that WB/DC would release it before it is leaked by a guy with a camera phone

I can't speak for others, but personally I think this is literally just a promotional banner. They've had them a bunch of times. Could it be for the film? It could be, but right now it looks to be just part of the DC booth. If more is revealed then sure, but as it stands right now. It's just a banner with the S and a background.

If you want to really debate it...then yes it's for the film. In the sense that its selling Superman as a property. It's there to sell the character, not just the film. So basically all this is pointless...it's both for the film and for the rest of the Superman line.

To be fair...These things tend to be slapped together and often are pretty simple promo designs. Especially when its a new production. There just isnt a lot of promotional material yet for a lot of these films and they mock stuff up pretty fast.

True, but for a big time production that's already had one "flop" they don't need to just throw stuff together and give it to the people. They need to take great care with Superman...this movie could be his resurrection or the final nail in his coffin
