NFL - Game On

I think the Bills offense is good. I do not think it's as nearly good as they schedule and luck (playing a broken down Niners in the snow) has shown. I think The Chargers in a high pressure playoff game could do the business. Same with the Broncos. Both have far superior head coaches who know how to win big games with less.

If the playoffs started today the first round would be:
Chefs bye

Bills vs. Broncos
Steelers vs. Ravens
Chargers vs. Texans

Bills have the Lions next week. We'll see what they do. Their last three games will tell us nothing and they'll win them. If the Bills lose, If the the Chefs win their next three games (Chargers, Browns, Texans) I can see them going a bit... easy against the Steelers. Trying to force the Bills/Ravens game in the first round. That would be hilarious. :funny:
Oh, I'm with you on the Bills. I don't think they're as good as the record indicates, and think their wins say nothing about them because it's been mostly trash all year. I mean even that win over the Chiefs is the same game we've seen 3 years in a row in the regular season. Their losses are far more indicative that they're the same dumb team in real pressure situations which will bound to be the case come playoffs time.

The Broncos is a good shout too. I had forgotten about them. Yeah, I could see them being a surprise upset against anyone come playoff time. That defense has been awesome, and I trust Payton to continue to manage his offense perfectly.

On the west coast, we get a lot of the Broncos is the 1/4pm window.

Who are your favorite teams to watch this season?

Chargers are my secondary team outside of the Pats (who have been a hate watch), but I've been loving watching the Lions, Packers, and Steelers this year. I'd be rooting for any of those to go all the way to win, especially the Lions even though I think Campbell might cost them in a big spot.

Been nice to see the Vikings with Darnold doing well, and I have soft spot for Baker down in Tampa.

My COY list front runner would be Tomlin or O'Connell. Campbell is having a fantastic year and they might be the best team in football, but the Lions were also really good last year. I mean getting this out of Sam Darnold and Russell Wilson is pretty impressive.
Freaking love Tomlin and I can definitely see that. O'Connell has done a great job, but his team was expected to be great. Ditto for Campbell, but, man, some of those calls on 4th down......:thud::thud::thud:

Generally, I think COY goes to the coach of the team that really exceeds expectations. Anyway, it won't be Antonio Pierce LOL

Justin Herbert throws one of the sweetest spirals in the NFL. I know some people don't like him as a QB, and he can get hot and cold, but god does he throw a nice ball.

The guy who lost at 4:25 in LA should probably watch his contemporary over here to learn what a winner looks like.

It's absolutely hilarious how Chefs games down matter until the last drive of the game. Whatever happens, it will come down to it. And they have the GOAT.

They're winning the Super Bowl again. It's going to be hilarious.

Maybe next season will be a little more fun for the Giants & Raiders.

cue the crybabies for Netflix picking Mina Kimes

I see the there was another missed face mask call last night. I get these referee's are human, but it's just so hard to watch games anymore where officials are missing calls or completely blowing them.

I hope the NFL seriously looks at the technology that's at their disposal and considers using it in the future to ensure the correct calls are made.

I also wouldn't mind teams getting a third challenge and that challenge can be used for anything at anytime.

The 49ers looked great against a struggling Bears team. However, it was a very winnable game against a bad Bears team, so most likely, 49ers fans aren't going to overreact that the 49ers are now a powerhouse that is going to reach the Playoffs because they still need outside help, and winning all their remaining games both fall in the long shot category.

The Jets found an entertaining way to choke multiple times because they couldn't defend a lead in the 4th Quarter resulting in the Dolphins forcing overtime, and the Dolphins had no struggle in Overtime moving the football in overtime since they scored a game-winning touchdown.
As a result, the Dolphins remain alive for a Wild Card spot while the Jets have been eliminated from Playoff contention. They continue to keep it alive for the consecutive losing seasons they've had and haven't been to the NFL Playoffs since the 2010 NFL season.

I'm not surprised the Jaguars played slightly better than the Titans in a coin flip game to finally end their 5 game losing streak mainly because they succeeded in scoring a touchdown while they kept the Titans from scoring a touchdown on multiple drives.
The Titans need to finish in the bottom five of the worst NFL teams to get the top five draft picks, so a rebuilding Titans team with 3 wins losing to a Jaguars team that had 2 wins isn't a huge disappointment compared to past NFL seasons when they lost to Inferior teams when they had realistic chances of making the Playoffs.

Joe Burrow is statistically the best NFL QB this season for Throwing Yards, and touchdowns which is impressive because the Bengals are a bad team with a losing record that is very likely to miss the Playoffs. It's unlikely the Broncos will be able to win all 4 remaining games because what they've done for most of this season is consistently lose close games, have the Dolphins and Colts lose multiple games, and the Broncos lose most of their remaining 4 games is a huge long shot.
Now while the Bengals could win their 4 remaining games it'll be fruitless because it's hugely unlikely that the Broncos lose 4 consecutive games.

Unsurprisingly, the Cowboys found a way to choke vs the Bengals in which a bad team can be less bad because the Cowboys continue to be the reliable accident waiting to happen or the Wile E Coyote-style team that finds ways to self-destruct or implode.
Any of the Cowboys fans looking at what's best long term will want the Cowboys to have a losing record so JJ can see conclusive evidence the outsiders were entirely right that additions have to be made to improve the Cowboys because Parsons, Lamb, and other talented players can't remove those glaring flaws even if they prosper on the Football field during games much like Al Pacino, Sylvester Stallone, and other great actors being in a poorly written movie isn't going to remove the glaring terrible writing.

I always wonder how these kinds of transitions will work out. I heard he said something to the effect that he would create a pipeline to the NFL for his players and that there would be preparatory training at all levels of the game. It sounds like a great recruiting tool for the best, young players in the country.

i can't decide between Bigsby or Scary Terry this week ugh
