Nicolas Cage vs Haunted Amusement Park in Wally’s Wonderland

This is basically Five Nights at Freddy’s with Nic Cage

I so want to see this now!

I heard there was one in development a while ago, but nothing else recently.

Is a Five Nights at Freddy's movie coming out too?

Will this be a Deep Impact/Armageddon situation this year?
I don’t think so

But the premise of these amusement park animatronic characters coming to like and killing people made me think of Five Nights at Freddy’s

Also sounds like we’ll be getting the trailer real soon!

Nice to get an actual trailer this time around at least.

oh man i think this looks great.
love how cage is doing something outside the box with his acting choices again - the silent nic cage.

lets see how that plays out.

Silent Nick is intriguing but I'll be shocked if he doesn't go Full Cage by the end of this.

I. CANNOT. WAIT.

It was decent, but it didn't really live up to how awesome the trailers made it look which honestly makes me wish I hadn't watch anything for it in advance, but I still had a good enough time with it. Silent, badass Nic Cage and the practical effects/gore were easily the highlights though.

Honestly this was awful for me. Completely awful. The initial idea/premise was so much better than the actual execution. Worst movie I've seen in a while.

Aside from some of the bad acting... not from Cage btw.... I thought this was really fun.

(probably helps that I didn't see/remember the trailers ahead of time)

The soundtrack however is fire.

Interesting movie.

Was not good, but watchable for a one time viewing. I actually thought it would be better. But I think they knew what they were making and just cheese balled it.

Probably the easiest pay cheque NC ever made, no lines needed to remember.

I thought this was bad, even though I did have some fun with it... but the "story," the characters, the acting, the effects... all bad. They should've done so much more with this concept. It has some gore, but most of the kills aren't great. (Very cheap looking) Also
it made no sense how casual the teenagers were acting around the animatronics when they were standing still, the teens knew the backstory... and yeah let's have sex while the killer robots are loose, why not? Maybe that was intentional, but I thought it looked stupid

You can still enjoy this if you like Nic Cage, and you know going in that this really is a B movie. Don't expect something like Mandy or Color Out of Space, because it's nowhere near close to the quality of those movies.

Having just finished this, there are questions.

Is it in any way related to Child's Play?
Or Annabelle?
And several other possessed doll movies?
Does he go around the country stopping satanic animatronic monsters or does he also stop dolls, action figures and other possessed toys?
Is Nic Cage's "Janitor" a one man satanic clean up crew? He seemed totally unphased by all of this so my thinking is yes, to all of it.
What is with his choice of drink? He seemed to be on a strict schedule and had to have that drink when his watch alarm went off.
When do we get a sequel?

Despite the absurdity of it or maybe because of it I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. Yes, there were stupid teenager choices and the entire plot made no sense as to why the town not only did this but was able to get away with it for so long but Cage just casually (and frequently literally) taking out the trash more than made up for it.
