Hollywood is that dry on new ideas to the point of remaking Flatliners ? This will also flatline at the BO I think.
Im just talking about the vibe I got from the trailer...What do I know I've never seen the original.
Nah I get Limitless vibes too. With the "wow my brain is more open and I can ride motorcycles, get with girls, and do cool stuff"
Also getting a bit of Project Almanac vibes too. At least in broad-strokes in the trailer with the partying and the.
"Look we discovered this cool thing. Let's go to the concert and make out"
But at least in Project Almanac it makes sense because theyre teenagers. Some of these motherf***ers are like 30
How dare you, James Norton is amazing.Watched the trailer again and I still like almost all of what I see but... what's up with that blond guy? I know it's hard to tell just from a trailer but his acting seems... bad.
Hollywood's in a very bad place if they are remaking movies like Flatliners.
It's a sequel actually. Kiefer Sutherland is playing his character from the original. Why it has the same exact name? Beats me.
Off to a great start.

Yeah, this looks just awful. I liked the original far too much to even Netflix this.![]()
Yeah, the original was worth watching simply for the cast at the time.
Absolutely. Everyone went on to have fantastic careers.![]()
Man...just thinking back on that, it REALLY was a who's who at that point in time. I almost wanna go watch the old one now.
My favorite line, "And who are you supposed to be? Bonerman?" I always think of it whenever I see a skeleton costume.I just love Oliver Platt.
Is Hollywood that desperate for brand recognition that they will remake a movie like Flatliners? And don't get me wrong, the original is a decent movie, but why remake a movie like that of all things?
