Also getting a bit of Project Almanac vibes too. At least in broad-strokes in the trailer with the partying and the.

But at least in Project Almanac it makes sense because theyre teenagers. Some of these motherf***ers are like 30

Yeah, the ages of the actors are all over the place. Diego Luna is almost 40 but Kiersey Clemons is in her early 20s, lol.

Watched the trailer again and I still like almost all of what I see but... what's up with that blond guy? I know it's hard to tell just from a trailer but his acting seems... bad.

Never seen the original, but based on that trailer, this cast seems too good for this, imo.

Technically it is a sequel/reboot but your not wrong.

Hollywood's desperation for anything with name recognition is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Riding that big 'ol goose egg for a while. No surprise here. Remaking this movie wasn't a great idea to begin with. It's not like the original had folks clamoring for more. IGN hit it with a 5.0 which is actually better than I expected. They said the sci fi stuff was pretty strong, but it falls apart once it starts trying to scare you.
