Niels Arden Oplev to remake "FlatLiners"

I remember watching the original Flatliners and not being impressed with it. The cast and the concept were cool but the actual movie was pretty dull. The remake followed in the originals footsteps in that regard.

This movie was just forgettable. It wasn't scary enough to be a good supernatural horror movie and the mystery elements were not interesting enough to make you care about what is going on.

The movie turns into some sort of weak ash J-horror flick from a decade ago. There are a few rave/party scenes that felt like they were included to entice MTV watchers.

Keifer Sutherland is wasted as the grouchy boss/teacher. Him being revealed as the guy from the original film would of at least been interesting.
