:hmm

I love how Nintendo Switch 2 is getting buzz that now Playstation 6 is also out there. Feels like this console generation just flew by.

It really does. It doesn't seem like it's been more than two years since the PS5 came out and we're already mid-cycle.

we're halfway there with the Ps6. but the Switch 2 is right around the corner. Ps6 is rumored to release in 2028.

Seems like SA has actually cut its stake.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) trimmed its holding in Nintendo Co., a day after reports that a senior executive at the kingdom’s mammoth sovereign wealth fund said it was considering upping its stake.

The PIF reduced its stakehold in the Japanese video game giant to 7.54% from 8.58% previously, according to a Japanese regulatory filing on Tuesday.

Backwards compatibility is a very safe bed
I just hope there's another adaptor of sort that lets you use a GameCube controller, like the Wii, Wii U, and Switch did.

Seriously, while I like how controllers such as the Genesis, PS2, and Dreamcast, as a few examples, feel, something about how the GameCube controller fits in your hand just feels right. Plus, it's the best way to play Smash, honestly.

I can hear the frustrated rage across the internet.

Announcement of an announcement, maybe. We aren't getting an announcement this year.

I don't believe this
