ShockTillYouDrop.com talked exclusively to Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov and asked if he would consider making a third film in the series that includes Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) and Day Watch (Dnevnoi Dozor). Here's a clip:

"I don't know. It depends on what will happen," Bekmambetov told us in this exclusive interview when asked about his involvement with a third movie in the series. "I never read a script for 'Dusk Watch' and we'll see what will happen. I'm kind of done with these kinds of movies. Not action movies, but conspiracy theory/action/tragedies."

That sucks since the whole series has been marketed as a trilogy from the beginning. Isnt it like the biggest movie in Russia? Im surprised he would say something like that.

Actually the series is up to four books now, with the fourth called The Last Watch

Oh really, when did that come out? I was specifically talking about the first US trailer where they said called it part one of an ambitious horror trilogy (or something like that). Are there English translations of the books I havent found any

The first 3 books have been in US stories since the first movie. I find them all the time.

I have watched a recent russian interview, during which he noted that he had been very amazed by Hollywood oppotunities (especially actors). So I guess Hunter is right, as it all depends on how much Wanted will make.
