Fox has fired one of their own film critics for reviewing the leaked version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine after an un-finished version of the film was leaked onto the Internet last month. Fox News entertainment columnist Roger Friedman actually reviewed the pirated version, and despite giving it a positive review, Fox has fired him for doing so. Fox is clearly not happy about the leak, having already contacted the FBI, and vowing to prosecute the perpetrators to the full extent of the law. We'll be sure not to post our review of the film until after it hits theaters. Just kidding. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is unleashed on May 1st.

kinda feel sorry for that reporter guy. He gave it a good review and still gets fired, nice fox. aww well this would have been some thing if they found the guy that made the leak.

There is no point in blaming Fox for that. He viewed a pirated movie and was stupid enough to broadcast the fact to the world. What's even more comical is that he was working for a branch of the company that was publishing the movie in the first place.

Good job. He deserves a steep fine.

Hilarious. Why would a reporter for Fox be so stupid that he reviews a pirated copy? Not only did he deserve to get fired, but headbutted as well. What the hell was he thinking.

Thanks man, but my reason for this post was two fold i was also testing out if I can get the image from my photo shop working besides finding out this news.

BTW I did say I kinda felt sorry. I 'm not condoning it but it was a bit extreme. be side from what i've seen most people that down load these still get to the real thing later. have the music industry guys say this example those bare naked ladies group. but what ever. that's only if they like it that is.

But since he's was gonna do more as he said and that was cause trouble for the company, yeah he had it coming. I don't mind this being merged with that thread.

Not extreme at all. If you work for a company, then hear of property being stolen from that company, then knowingly acquire that property for yourself before announcing the acquisition to the world, what would you expect in return?

as I said he said it was good in his view. it was extreme in the sense after he said that. by some views.
But as I also said he also had it coming at the later end of what i said. since it's cause the company trouble that he was gonna do more .

but your also for getting some of the law's here in north America on the boot legging only applys to posters/ shippers that are putting out the film, fine wise. so yeah i would be Expecting that .

I might see the movie but I wasn't happy with former three X- movies revolving around wolverine and this is just wolverine 4. But seeing that Jack man is a decent guy and went as far to add in character's that I feel have no place in there like gambit and cyclops. cause they have their own dark stories that rival the weapon X story to tell . I'm tired of seeing certain main characters being turned in side characters or what should be shown in equal spot light in these organization of people in films . other then that may be i might see it. But seriously they shouldn't be there in his solo stuff.

But I do thank him( Hugh jackman) for trying to make it up to us about that issue.
