I watched ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds today, pretty good show all in all.

Some quick thoughts;

- Karl Anderson suddenly comes off like Arn Anderson

- Good to see Adam Cole has found some personality, he has the look and ability. I'd say his match with Liger was the best of the show

- So the Bullet Club are basically just ripping off the NWO and DX's hand gestures and catchphrases?

- Why have they turned Matt Taven into a generic face? Without Truth Martini and the Hoopla Hotties he is left exposed

- Mark Briscoes new head is hilarious! :funny:

- Steen vs Nakamura was the battle of the guys I don't get, some awful looking strikes

- Is Mike Bennett intentionally so horrid at doing moves in order to get heat?

- Silas Young sounds like Rick Rude

- Kyle O'Reilly is fantastic, his work in the ROH tag title match was superb, the match itself was pretty good if guilty of the usual indie overkill

- The triple threat main event was decent but I wish we'd have gotten AJ vs Okada in a singles match

- Corino has really found his voice on commentary, he was too brash and loud before, but on this show he had a great balance to his natural heel persona with some actual common sense

- After the original Sin Cara returned to Mexico and said for months that he had the right to legally use that name, he’s now saying that he thinks he should have a new name to help break free from his past characters.

- Word is that the official on-screen decision about the WWE World Heavyweight Title will be made on this Monday’s Memorial Day RAW from Knoxville, TN. There was some speculation that they might carry the angle out over a few weeks.

What a joke. The greatest Intercontinental Champion IMO, Shawn Michaels, isn't even on the list!

Yeah, it was a great match with pacing I expected but really enjoyed. I just wish it went longer.

I won't lie, I liked this match. Sloppy at times, but hell, I gave in to the hype.

I couldn't tell, we couldn't hear **** where my friend and I was sitting. But we saw everything and that's all that matters. We heard them better without the mics.

It was overkill, but it was glorious overkill, especially since the card wasn't stacked with 10 matches like that. Why it worked. Bobby Fish made me a believer.

Elgin felt out of place and looked gassed pretty early in. I liked the match, but I did expect more. Still, the card was worth going to.

Catching up (and sleeping through) RAW and Smackdown, it's always awesome seeing the Union Jacks appear. Seriously, when is Heath gonna catch a break? I know enhancement talent is a must, but dammit this man needs a push finally.

Bo Dallas has made me a BO-liever. What an obnoxious twit.

Adam Rose needs to get into the ****ing ring and wrestle. This **** is what they have vignettes for.

Del Rio's gold tights made him look like a Mexican Rocky Horror.

WWE Reveals - in-depth looks at controversial moments in WWE history including Jerry Lawler vs. Andy Kaufman, the passing of Owen Hart, "The Curtain Call" in Madison Square Garden with the Kliq, Mike Tyson leaving prison after a rape conviction to help WWE kickstart Steve Austin as a major star, the XFL and David Stossel being slapped by "Dr. D" David Schultz.
Now this could be interesting.

Hopefully, one of these days, they'll get tired of burying Ziggler. It hurts to see how far his career has fallen. :(
Stops hurting when you stop caring.

- Impact Wrestling's official Facebook Page issued a survey to their fans about which ring they like better, and to let them know by commenting under the two side by side photos. Right Now the Six Sided ring is winning by just over a thousand more votes.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: TOO LATE!

Watched Supercard of Honor VIII this afternoon, solid enough show, you can add R.D. Evans to the list of stuff I don't get though, Veda Scott I get....

"This is wrestling!!!" @Steen vs Elgin...If that's wrestling give me death!

Ladder War V started off really well but turned into a cluster**** which is the antithesis of what ROH is supposed to be about. I get that putting Hardy, Bennett and Maria with Cole is designed to get him heat, but it was excessive and spoiled a potentially great main event.

Jay Briscoe remains the best worker in ROH, I love how him and Mark keep refreshing their gimmick, Jay's now a post apocalyptic coal miner and Mark has stepped even further into the world of Deliverance with his shaggy look. I also think reDRagon remain their best act, show to show delivering the best performances.

I think with Liger being near 50 they went for quality over quantity with the match.

It just alludes me, I guess live in the atmosphere is different. I amazingly see less appeal in Nakamura than Steen, and you know how I feel about Steen.

Silas Young is gold, probably a gimmick that only works on the indies but fun.

The Young Bucks are certainly very exciting and are as slick as any team I've seen.

Elgin just wasn't anywhere near as over as Styles and Okada, he felt like a 3rd wheel on a date, like the QB bringing his buddy from the D-line on a date with the head cheerleader......analyze that Pinky! :oldrazz:

I wonder with Cole running in at the end and yelling that he's the best in the world we could see Champion vs Champion in June.
