I'm a nocturnal performer. I work best at night, I play best at night, I feel the most alive during non-daylight hours. In no way, shape or form am I some goth, emo, vampire who despises sunlight...I just am not a morning/afternoon type person.
Now here at the Hype...I believe that the daytime poster (forgive me if you are closer to the 0 on the GMT, but I primarily speak of the -5,6,7,8 timezones) is of a different breed than those of us who primarily post here at night. I occasionally log on to the Hype during work...just to see what's going on. But I don't really become an active poster until at least 6pm or later...often leaking into the wee hours of the morning...blibbering to myself in the lounge where I'm sure people roll their eyes at my nonsense.
But the dayposters (daywalker...poster...see what I did). They are usually more polite, empathetic and have nice online etiquette. Formalities such as greeting each other in the lounge...and asking how your day is going...is common practice. It irks me...but I make nice and read and play nice during the daytime.
But boo to all that jazz at night...I don't need it. If I see it I'll verbally defecate on it.
Blibbering aside...what kind of poster are you and why? And are you willing to join me in my silent but deadly war against unnecessary Hype small talk/politeness/crap.
