Legendary’s Fight Against Warner Bros. Could Save ‘Dune’ from HBO Max — Report

When it comes to “Godzilla vs. Kong,” Legendary allegedly had Netflix lined up to purchase “Godzilla vs. Kong” for around $250 million earlier this year. Warner Bros.’ parent company WarnerMedia reportedly blocked the decision, thus opening the door for the monster movie tentpole to be released on HBO Max in addition to theaters. Per Deadline, Legendary is reportedly looking to secure the same $250 million valuation from Warner Bros. over its decision to stream “Godzilla vs. Kong.” IndieWire has reached out to Legendary Entertainment for comment.

Actually get to watch full episodes again?

Another underrated part of the HBO Max library? Their sports docs. They have some all time greats on there that I've been finally able to watch for the first time

What are some forgotten movies people recommend checking out? I’ve been re-binging The OC. Don’t judge me.
That was literally the first thing I did when HBO Max came out, so no judgement here. :funny:

If you’re looking for proper classics on Max, I recommend M, The 39 Steps, Modern Times, Cool Hand Luke, Foreign Correspondent, Giant, The Lady Vanishes, Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart At the River Styx or Baby Cart in Peril, The Maltese Falcon,The Man Who Knew Too Much, A Streetcar Named Desire, North by Northwest, Rashomon, Throne of Blood, Wings of Desire, Time Bandits and 12 Monkeys if there are any of those you haven’t seen.

Also, random, but I just found a great Galaxy Quest documentary on Prime.

An amazing list of course. I started writing something out similar, but I was half way through, saw yours, and was thinking, "are any of these forgotten". But always nice to see someone help out. :yay:

A Face in the Crowd, Body Heat (not on there anymore, but check it out when it comes back), Innerspace is a fun Joe Dante movie that gets nuts, The Right Stuff, The Player, Dawn of the Dead, Eyes Without a Face, The Parallax View, Magnum Force (an underrated sequel to Dirty Harry)

Plus Monkeybone. I gotta check that **** out. :o
