Surprised HBO Max, Netflix, and Prime Video aren't already having a bidding war for it.Not surprising. If anything, HBO’s dual release strategy will make other studios question their release timeline if these films keep underperforming at the box office. I’m sure Bond will get pushed again or picked up by a streaming service.
Nobody who’s paying for HBO should have to pay any more for HBO Max. They would just need to download the app.Yeah, WB/AT&T need to do a better job with their PR team because this is bad. Because I can imagine tons of SATC fans being upset that they thought having HBO meant they get access to the new season only to discover they have to shell out more money to get a premium version.
Meh it’s Wendy Williams. She’s not exactly with it in generalI was watching Wendy Williams today and right there...just talking about SATC she goes "But I heard its on HBO Max? I dont have that. I have HBO, whats Max? Do I have to watch it on my phone?"
There's your problem HBO(Max)! people are still confused about who you are!
So like the majority of Americans.Meh it’s Wendy Williams. She’s not exactly with it in general

But I agree about the confusion part. Their branding on this has sucked.
I'm actually shocked there hasn't been a Blade Runner show announced yet, tbh. That premise feels tailor-made for TV.All joking and annoyance aside, I really hope they get it together in terms of marketing. I like the service, and more sources for streaming shows for me to enjoy, the better. This is the new battleground for studio warfare. The more studios in the game, the better chance for quality entertainment. Also I need Doom Patrol and Harley Quinn to live!
I am watching 2049 right now, and I'd kill for a show set in this world. HBO MAX could make it happen.
I'd never say a bad world about HBO MAX again if they announced that. I am more of a 2049 guy then the original flick, but I will take a show anywhere on the timeline. It's such an amazing world to explore. They could even do an anthology series, and it would work incredibly well imo.I'm actually shocked there hasn't been a Blade Runner show announced yet, tbh.
