Granted, sometimes the other less base needs tend to outweigh that for some guys, there are a lot of us with those paternal instincts.

No matter how true it is there'll always be people who deny it and there is ample evidence to suggest otherwise by anything the media spits out about single mothers and deadbeat fathers. It's a common theme.

I thought we already knew that. I thought the concept of parental instincts was an accepted fact.

Yeah, it is but you know society doesn't really view it in the same manner as motherhood.
