if the ending would be good i would give the movie 9/10.

because it does look f... awesome.

That's the problem. I 'get it' but it doesn't work out for me. A[BLACKOUT]gain, I'm not talking about his 'past life' as a real person. I'm talking about the events that happened to Cruise #1; Cruise #2 is not the same guy who killed himself to save the world. He's not the same guy who discovered his hidden cabin in the forrest. Cruise #2 may have similar curiosities but we didn't follow his story.

That being said, I think they should've just left him dead. By bringing out Cruise 2, it's like having a twin brother coming in at the end. Looks the same; different person in the long run. [/BLACKOUT]

I still liked the movie however. It's just the ending was half-assed.

Yeah this is all true, again I dont disagree with you, but Cruise 52 did have all of his memories back once he saw Julia, plus he was searching for the house in the forest Cruise 1 built, so he knew enough of Jack Harper to know he would have a house on the lake somewere, it took him 3 years to find it, but Earth is a big place.

i dont think that he searched for the house. he found the humans and they together were searching for the forest. :)

I agree, it made sense for me that it took him 3 years to find his home. During those 3 years, all of those memories came back in one way or another.

He says in the movie he searched for the house and it took him 3 years to find it, its the last thing Harper 52 says.

Yep, once he saw Julia, they started coming back almost immediately, at least the movie implied that, then he had 3 years for more to come back.

Hopefully this did enough at the box office to get a sequel/prequel. I'd love to see more.

It's gross doubled what it cost to be made but did better overseas then it did State size.

Just watched this I really liked it, it wasn't a masterpiece buy very good aside from some of the spoonfed monologues and cliched stuff.

I give it a 7.5/10

I would watch the hell out of a Tom Cruise/Nikolaj buddy sci-fi epic.

I just dont know were a sequel could go without being forced though, the Tet was destroyed, and it was the sole reason the planet was almost destroyed.

The only thing I can imagine them doing is exploring the origins of the Tet somehow, and if someone built it or it was its own creation somehow.

Except when he spoonfeeds us with what happened in the past for like 30 minutes .

Watched this today. Still amazing visuals. I don't get the complaints on the story. I thought it was cool and compelling and held the mystery throughout. This gets a strong 9.5/10

Just watched this, loved it. The film is visually stunning, loved Cruise in this and Andrea Riseborough is gorgeous. I do wonder what happened to Victoria 52 after the Tet was destroyed?

Cool 45 minutes. The rest of it ,extremely shoddy.

Good looking film altough not a big fan of some of the camera work.

The day Kosinski finds a good script, he will certainly make a good film.

So I finally saw this. Surprised at how much i liked it. Probably my 3rd favorite of the year.
