odd DvR issue

last Sunday I noticed when I got home from work, that when I turned my TV on it wasn't on the same channel I left it on (it was on channel 600 something, which on my TV is a sports channel, I didn't even know I had)

an when I checked my DvR "list" there was a movie recorded that I didn't set to record (not only that but, it started recording partly into it...not from the beginning) so even if I some how accidentally set it to record, it would have been the whole thing, not only part of it (the only way that would've happened is if you turned it to that channel partly in to the movie then hit record) which no one was home to do that

at first I was starting to get paranoid that someone was sneaking into my house while I was at work....

but today when I got home from work the same thing had happened, the tv was left on the same channel, an a movie was partly recorded on my DvR (from same channel as last week) at the same time, even

so, it has to be something with my DvR... but I don't get why it would be doing this

A similar thing happens to me at least once a month, the Dish Network DVR box automatically switches over to a movie preview channel & records a segment of something that I didn't even set it to or have programmed to record. I don't really know why it does it but it does it but it does. These Satellite people have control of the master control on these satellite boxes so who knows what they are up to or what info the are stealing ect.

well I am no longer paranoid of people breaking into my house to watch tv, but now the master controllers, messing with my setting and spying on me...

not sure which is worth lol
(I think I was more ok with the idea of someone breaking in just to watch some TV)


but at least it didn't happen again this Sunday

from what I could tell, the timing coincided with two shows I had set to record at the same (that it would automatically change to that other channel, cause my system can only two shows at once) so that's why the movie only started to record partly in, an it was exact 30 minute into the movie (which is when the show start) but, it still doesn't make since that it would record it at all, before changing to the other channel(without it being set to record)... or why it would end up on channel 600 after
