I have a standard Motorola HD-DVR box with my Comcast cable. I was wondering if anyone might be able to give any tips about how I would go about getting the shows I save on the DVR on to my computer?

Also is there a software package that you'd recommend using to get screen grabs from those shows once I have them on my PC?

Thanks.

If your comp has a video card or some shyt hooked to it with a S-Video outlet on it. You could hook up the two that way. I have the same DVR box and it has S-Video outlet on it. I just don't have it on my comp. :o

what do you mean anyone? someone answered already...

sorry I typed a line about not having an S video cable but it didnt show up.. weird. Any other way to do this without an S video cable?

There is a product called the slingbox that allows you to view movies from your DVR to your PC, I don't know if you can also record it somehow...perhaps via Roxio MyDVD or similiar software?

What exactly are you planning on doing with this Hulk? :o

I have a standard DVR but usually I just put it in my DVD-rom drive and use a DVD ripping program.
