Spider-Aziz already answered. They have different levels of craft. No doubt.

But they all belong to the big bag of cinema irrelevancy.

DOFP is a legitimately good movie.

I think GOTG and Winter Soldier are on par with DOFP to be honest.

(1) Captain America: The Winter Soldier
(2) Guardians of the Galaxy
(3) TASM 2
(4) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
(5) Transformers: Age of extinction

Didn't see DOFP.

They are. Heck, GOTG got the best reception out of the three in just about every category possible. But all three are so close and well respected it doesn't matter.

For every person that swears DOFP is soooo much better there's another who says the same for GOTG or Cap.

Saying one is clearly better like its fact and not opinion is ridiculous at this point.

Even though I voted for Guardians and it probably is my favorite, it's really hard to choose between TWS, GOTG, and DOFP. They each are great!

Now that I've finally watched the amazing Guardians of the Galaxy and Days of Future Past films..... my answer is still The Amazing Spider-Man 2. :woot:

Lots of great ones this year for sure.

^You know TASM2 just irkes me as a movie, I enjoy it, and it has moments of greatness that can match anything the rest of the movies from 2014 can give us, but its brought down by so many stupid moments its really frustrating to watch.

Had the movie been more focused, and stupid little things like Dr. Kafka and Max Dillons story were left out, it would be competing with the others IMO.

1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Days of Future Past

I still haven't watched TASM2, TMNT, and TF4.

Agreed, I am happy that we got three solid comic book films this year

I'm not here to change anyone's mind as your opinion is just that but movies that are "trash" don't get critically acclaimed with RT ratings

Don't worry , you won't.

Also , critics exist beyond American aggregate sites.

^Yeah I agree, I think last year it would have been viewed better as every CBM released last year seemed to get a mixed reaction.

Honestly, I prefer DOFP and TWS over GOTG (although I enjoyed it).

I'd be hard-pressed to choose between DOFP and TWS.

^GOTG did have an amazing enjoyability factor, and surprisingly some emotional moments as well. But DOFP was just something special to me, any other year GOTG would be my number 1.

I've watched all of them except for Transformers. The top 3 are great/good. The rest are mediocre.

1. X-Men: Days of Future Past
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Captain American: TWS
4. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
5. Sin City: A Dame to Kill FOr
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
7. 300: Rise of an Empire

I've watched these films multiple times now, and this is my ranking:

1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 9/10
2. Guardians of the Galaxy 8.5/10
3. X-Men: Days of Future Past 8.5/10
4. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 6.5/10

100% agreed.

TWS pulling away, I am surprised it is winning personally, out of all 3 it got the worst critical reception and by the time GOTG finishes its run it will have likely made the least WW as well.

You make it sound like it got way worse. We're talking the different of 3% between the 3 of them. All of them I think were outstanding. I just favored TWS myself. It's just a matter of taste.

I watched the end of it on a cruise ship last week. Loved it. Also bought it on blu-ray. Can't wait to sit down and watch it again.
