I actually don't mind Wolverine in this storyline, despite the fact that I hate seeing him everywhere. I mean, he has a little history with DD and Elektra, and more than that, he has history with the Hand... even up to recently due to the Enemy of the State storyline.

He fits here better than some of the other characters (Ghost Rider or Spider-Man for example).

I didn't know about any of them except the Elektra/headstone one and the Wolverine/mask one. But I'm totally gonna hunt down that issue with Thor now.

The Thor one was the only one I didn't know. But personally I don't think a cover with Thor on it is worth homaging

This is the first event I've actually felt some anticipation for in quite a few years now. As JewishHobbit said I quite look forward to seeing Wolverine's involvment, especially after the Enemy of the State storyline with the hand. I wonder if he'll ride and crash a Sentinel into Hell's Kitchen...

From what Diggle is saying it sounds like DD is very much going to do the deed, that is unless Diggle is pulling our chain. But he's strongly suggesting that DD is going to do something very bad that he'll have to live with forever.

He doesn't kill people, but he has in the past. Like once or twice. Overall he is against it.

I wasn't planning on picking up Cage Match, but Anthony Johnston has done a good job on DD, so I guess I will.

I've been planning on picking up the one shot ever since the cover for it came out. Plus I like the concept of the story. Both have respect for one another. Both come from rough areas. And this is going to take a look at their friendship. Something tells me what's told about the two there will develop into something bigger in Shadowland.

Also agree on Johnston's writing.

The thing is this might as well been an issue in the ongoing.I figure they didn't do it so it wouldn't disrupt the flow of the Hand story.The Daredevil one shots in recent years have always been important and not throwaways.

I like that Johnston looks to be hearkening back to the more carefree, swashbuckling days of Daredevil's persona. Makes perfect sense for a flashback issue, and I'm happy to see that DD again, if only just briefly. Should make for a refreshing change of pace, if nothing else.

Irony abound. Was a long time that Matt didn't have respect for Luke. I take it this is set after the Marvel Knights team series.
