Wow I wasn't expecting so many Shadowland tie-ins, but it's marvel and that's what they do.

Marvel Comics has released a brand-new teaser image for the upcoming Daredevil-centric event "Shadowland" featuring the Man Without Fear in a new, darker costume flanked by his Hand minions.

Costume's pretty cool. The DD on his chest looks awkward when it's angled like that. Otherwise it's pretty cool.

I like the new costume, it's definitely fitting for this kind of story and "new" direction DD is taking. The costume itself almost reminds me of the suit he wore during Fall from Grace. I keep saying it over and over again - I continue to look forward to this.

I like it, about as much as his Secret War outfit, anyway. And as I've said elsewhere, it's not like it will last. I'm sure once Matt comes to his senses he'll be donning his red costume again. This is more about symbolism than finding a new look for Daredevil, and once Shadowland reaches its climax, I'm doubtless Matt will be taking his red digs off the hanger to signify his heroic return.

Compared to some events, it's really not that many tie-ins (in other words, expect about 20 more to be announced).

Moon Knight - Three Issues

Daughters of the Shadow - Three Issues

Daredevil and Thunderbolts will also tie in to the main series, plus four one-shots, two of which have already been announced: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider. My guess is the other two will center around Elektra and Wolverine, but that's nothing more than a hunch based on the teaser images released late last month.
