I think the only way that Ben Reilly will ever come back is when the fans that grew up with him starts working for Marvel. Maybe the next generation of writers and editors to work in the business.

You know what...me and a few others have been saying this same thing for a while. It's kinda like how most writers treat Kitty Pryde like she's Queen of Nerds because when they grew up in the 80's and she was a bright spot for them. I think the same thing will eventually be true about Reilly. The only thing is...I'll be like 30 something when that happens and i don't wanna wait 10 years. Besides, I don't think Marvel has the patience to wait that long before reviving a character.

I don't know if it'll take that long to get the revival done...all it takes is one good story idea and it'll be done. Joe Q constantly says that as long as it's a great story, it has a chance of being published. With that said, maybe someone out there who is passionate enough can take up the challenge and keep sending in proposals for a Reilly revival

I could also be wrong, but I think the stance on the whole clone saga has lightened somewhat at Marvel. There are writers out there who have somewhat lightly referenced the story...so who knows, maybe it'll happen sooner then later

Man...it's been ages since I even cracked open a Clone saga comic

How bout a Spidey/Scarlet teamup?

Surprisingly there aren't many Spider-Man/Scarlet Spider team-ups. In the early stage of the Clone Saga they were either working seperately, at each others throats, or fighting the Jackal in the awful Maximum Clonage.

But shucks, here's one i found just cause you asked nicely...Spectacular 229. Post-Maximum Clonage, Ben and Peter working together after Ben was revealed to have been the original and Peter hadn't yet hung up his webs and moved to Portland.

Even though they hated each other, they also teamed up to fight Carnage in Ravencroft too

They teamed up in the 'Planet of Symbiotes' mini. Some good scenes with Peter, Ben and Eddie Brock just chilling in Pete's apartment while MJ was freaking out.
