I am a big fan of Ben Reilly. I hope, he'll return someday, somehow...

I enjoyed the comics with him, Spidey and Venom fighting symbiotes. It is sad he had to die. But who knows... maybe a second clone or something will bring him back.

One of the only major Clone Saga books I missed was "Spider-Man: 101 Ways to end the Clone saga." I would be really grateful if someone could put some scans up from that.

I thought I remembered reading it in this thread, too, but I can't be entirely sure. But on Redemption, I absolutely loved the story. J.M. Dematteis was one of the best writers working during the Clone Saga. Redemption and Lost Years were both great works of art, and Lost Years could be one of the better Spidey tales I've ever read.

Seriously...I just read that. Ben Reilly is the most "dead is dead" character since Uncle Ben (and even he's alive). He's like one of the only characters to NEVER return. What the ****?!!

Indeed. Love that book. Working for a paper, It gives me just a hint of despite how fun that thing is to read- making it must have been an absolute blast beyond anything we could possibly imagine.

Wow thanks dude. I really appreciate you posting that. I had never read it.

I prefer almost all those ideas to what really happened (with the exception of "Ben melts" and "Ben gets squashed by a sentinel). I especially liked both the Mephisto time-loop idea and the Traveller/Judas idea. Both would have been a lot better.
