Personally, I think it'd be awesome to have Reilly Tyne still exist somewhere in the 616...even if it's just as a regular child in Spider-Man's life. Maybe he could be the new Devon or a realllllly young Jimmy Olsen type and Peter doesn't make the connection for a while.

It'd allow Peter to be an Uncle (something he'd take a liking to considering who raised him) without having to be burdened as a Parent. Reilly Tyne becoming a main supporting character of the 616 Spidey would be the coolest thing ever next to a Ben Reilly return or a Kaine return.

well I'm taking a guess... The new series is supposed to be based on the classic Spidey comics(no umasking, no iron suit, no sins past, no the other). Gwen's death is an iconic moment in comic Book history... so If they're following the comics she'll have to die eventually...

My comicbook guy SWEARS he talked to Slott and one of the Scarlet Spiders is Ben Reilly, but we've all heard those rumors before (Ronin, Darkdevil, FNSM last year, etc) and they didn't pan out, so I'm not believing him until I see the issue. But part of the preview DEFINITELY makes you take notice... and with the cosmic reset button coming in a month, why not throw everything at the wall? It's all gonna be retconned anyway...

Holy frickin ****! Those images of the preview... the guy climbing outside the window of May's Hospital.. I was convinced it was Ben for a minute! I mean granted, I know they're clones and look the same, and that it's Peter, but damn if they don't just scream Ben to me.

Man, that next to last page totally reminded me of when May was in the hospital following her stroke and Betty Brant and Anna Watson were in the room, and Ben was looking in from the outside, and she noticed something moving out there, and also from Amz # 400 when pete was in the room with May, and he felt Ben outside and gave him the dirtiest look......

I am so psyched for the issue, when does it come out?

I just had a horrbile thought... what if Ben Reilly comes back for the moment of choice Aunt May or MJ... Now Ben Reilly sacrifices himself to undo the unmasking and erasing the Clone Saga, while Peter sacs the marriage to save Aunt May... jokesada, erradicates the clone saga, erases Baby May, erases the marriage, remasks spidey and has him stuck in a timeless world... talk about the ultimate *****slap.
