Welll.... don't get too excited. The bigwigs occasionally throw us Reilly fans some red meat and teases just to keep us reading in the vain hope he comes back. I've been let down by misleading sneak-peeks or speculation more times than I can count. But still, faith is a good thing.

they are on issue 550 now so issue 600 should be out in just under 2 years (roughly)

Um, actually, issue #600 comes out around April 2009.

Thats if they keep the 3x a month thing going.

Also what about months that have 5 weeks? Is it still only 3 issues then, or is it four?

I had no idea you were working on expanding LoR into a book, Andrew, but I'm greatly looking forward to it now. Can't wait to pick it up. Are you aiming for a mass release, or will it be something we'll have to order online?

Mass release. If I can't get an established publisher to pick up the book the plan was to self publish it and even if I do that, it'll certainly be able to get ordered through Diamond/Previews. I'll make sure it gets in people's hands. Trust me.

Walked into my local FYE today and saw a ton of Scaret Spider/HobGoblin mini-mate packages for $7.oo

When I get payed on Thursday, I am so buying one of them.

*also, isnt it weird how they try to ignore Ben and the Clone Saga, yet they continue to release so many figures for him?

I think the Scarlet Spiders in Avengers Initiative are a pretty big blow to the hopes of the original Scarlet Spider's return.

Though, it could be a cool story somewhere down the road, the Scarlet Spiders get de-activated and yet one day one of them is still running around in the Iron Spidey suit and its later revealed to be Ben Reilly.

That'd be pretty damn cool.

I think think they should just reveal the ben had been working for sheild and he actually trained the scarlet spiders on how to use there suits.

easy explanation for where he's been and very plausable.
