Also, yesterday, I bought the Scarlet Spider / HobGoblin Mini-Mate 2 pack.

Its awesome.
I have Ben hanging from my rear view mirror in my car.

BTW....there were a ton of Scarlet/Goblin 2-packs left in the store.

Nice, I might one of those two packs next time I go to Target or something.

@ Spider-Man Hero - I never saw them at Target, and I doubt you will too. It says on the box, that it's an F.Y.E. exclusive.

@ Ryano91 - $6.99+tax

Well, thankfully there's an F.Y.E at my closest mall, so I might get them, but I don't know exactly when. Thanks for the info.

Looking forward to the book, definitely'll buy it when it hits. And hey, if yer at Comicon in April maybe I'll run into ya; I'll be there all 3 days with my group.

I'll be there. No table this year or anything like that, but I'll be slinking around Sat and Sunday most likely.

I am so buying the "Life of Reilly" book the day it comes out.

I just bought the "Spider-Man: Icon" book, and was very dissappointed in the Clone Saga/90's era part.
Way too few 90's products pictures, barely touched on Ben at all.

Andrew if there's a lot of publicity surrounding this book and it renews interest in Ben, you might be the driving force that brings him back. It's harder now post-BND, but you never know.

Heh heh heh....

Remember When Ben was first brought back it was to provide us with a younger, smarter, cooler, hipper, unmarried Spider-Man.

basically the complete opposite of the then Peter Parker.

if they use the same formula now, we could get an "older," wiser, more experienced, cooler, hipper, non-devil dealing Spider. one who is registered (but only tony knows) and married, possibly to Janine, or Jessica. (whatever happend to the Daily Grind crew?)

Yeah Reilly rocks. He sould definitely come back to the 616 mainstream....now that Quesada has totally messed up the continuity, post-OMD. :o

I know some people have been looking for them out of sheer curiosity or to get themselves hyped for the book. I finally put all of the old columns together and archived them here, as they originally were presented years ago (spelling mistakes included) ;)

Ok, here's a shot of my new Mini-Mate Scarlet Spider:

I have one on my MySpace, but it looks wierd:

I didn't mind the character, got the four part series that ended the clone saga. I really liked his Spider-Man costume and the Scarlet Spider one. I get tired of seeing Spider-Man always wearing his classic costume.

"Are Pete's paparazzi pics inspiring a super celebrity stalker? Is he responsible for all of her grisly acts? Even if he is, what can Spider-Man do about it? How can anyone stop the flatout freaky powers of Paper Doll? Also: Miss this issue, and you'll miss out on SOMETHING YOU'VE ALL BEEN ASKING FOR!!! Write it down, Spider-fans, ASM #560!!!"

am I being too optimistic in what I am thinking???

Yes.

Sorry, but they already said they had all the stories scripted until ASM#600. And no Kaine or any clones between now and then. I think what they're referring to when they say "WHAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN ASKING FOR" is telling us what happened on Peter's wedding day. I bet the celebrity stalker is the person in the other Spider-Man costume.

Also, Peter looks twice as bulky as the other Spider-person.

so what else have we been all asking for? apart from somthing bad to joey Q of course

Yes.

they wouldnt tell us he was coming back though if they WERE planning on doing it they would want it to be a surprise......I doubt greatly it is ben, but you never know, they also said we wouldnt find out about the wedding day for quite sometime

Here's the solicit for the cover above...

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #562
Written by "Bumblin'" BOB GALE
Pencil and Cover by "Maladjusted" MIKE McKONE
It's Web-Slinger vs. Wall-Crawler as artist extraordinaire Mike McKone (FF, The Exiles) joins writer Bob Gale to answer the
question – who is "The Other Spider-Man?" It ain't comin' down to another clone saga is it? If so, send all complaints to 1994!
32 PGS./Rated A …$2.99

Steve Wacker said they had no plans for Ben Reilly (or any other clones for that matter) before ASM 600.

Then again, he has confirmed himself that he's been lying about alot of stuff concerning ASM.

Sorry, but they already said they had all the stories scripted until ASM#600.

Plotted, not scripted.

Also, when did Wacker (or whoever) say that they wouldn't be dealing with clones? I must have missed that.
