Anyone else picking this book up? It's amazing in my eyes. It has everything a bat-family fan could want. Robin acting like Robin, all the 'badguys' getting together. The re-inserting of the mob bosses into Gotham which have been pretty much silent for years now. [blackout]Spoiler being back[/blackout]. Dick making up his own "Matches Mallone" type of character, and not even being able to tell it was him.

The art is pretty good too, as is the storyline with the Whale and all the normal rogues wondering wtf is going on.

THoughts on it?

Who is the villian on the 2nd or 3rd page with the dome over his head and bright costume? Not Mr. Freeze is it?

They never said, but it did remind me of him. Except in some kind of clown outfit.

if I remember right, Freeze in the old days used to wear zany ass costumes like that, as he was pretty much a generic tool with a generic gimmick...

I've been digging it too...the whole covers that you can set side by side and make one big picture thing they're doing is awesome too :o

should the spoiler thing be blanked out like that? I mean, she's on the cover of one of the issues after all.

so whats the story?she never died after all? Does that explain why she never got a memorial case?

Does this mean that Leslie Tompkins isn't a murderer anymore? Well, I guess she still did try...

Could be a scheme between the two. Leslie did save her but then told bruce she died or soething of the sort. Don't remember the exact details of how it happened in war games.

And wow, just looked at the gotham undergound mini poster. bottom middle. Azrael?!?!

**** YES AZRAEL.

words not in capital letters

Pissed that Vigilante gets his own cover.

Wait....Step isn't dead?

*has been away from the bats family for a while*

*is happy* ^_^

Anyone pick up #3 yet?

I thought Scarecrow kicked ass this issue. :word:

Yeah, I picked up 3 today, and it's still going as good as it started. Scarecrow definatly showed that he's still capable.

Anyone know who that new team was at the end of the book? I didn't reckognize any of them.

If you arn't reading this, you're missing out on one of the best Batman stores in years.
