What lines? We haven't heard a single substantial line from her in any sort of meaningful context.

Didn't know we needed to hear any main lines from Lively?

Why? This film isn't about her anyway.

Yeah like I said in the Trailer thread just WOW, June is so close yet so damn far away! This may be the best trailer I have seen for a Summer movie yet.

Love the new trailer, the guardians look awesome and Kilowog looks nothing short than a badass

She's the female lead?

I think she's going to be fine, and even if she did suck, it wouldn't ruin the movie, but obviously the performance of the female lead is important.

Visually impressive. I'm hoping it has the same "gravitas" other DC movies have had. As mixed a reaction as SR and Watchmen had, they had a feeling of grandeur. I think this movie will have it too.

Guys, we haven't heard any substantial lines from any of the female actors in this film (and that includes Oscar nominee, Angela Basset). Why are we hating on the women?

Meh, you'll hear plenty of lines from her when the movie comes out. Who cares if she doesn't have in depth dialogue in a trailer.

Fantastic trailer! I loved the new footage.

This hit the checklist for pretty much everything I wanted from the second trailer. It had the guardians, some nice Sinestro moments, Kilowog speaking, multiple constructs, and epic music. Even extra stuff, like the shot of the Sinestro corps symbol. :hal::kyle::alan: YEAHBOI!

It's interesting to note that I got more out of Angela Basset's single line in this new trailer than any of the lines I've heard from Lively so far.

My 2nd favorite lightsaber fight sequence behind Empires, out of all the Star Wars movies was the one with Darth Maul.

Man, Lucas screwed up bad by killing Maul to soon. Once of the many screw ups by Lucas on those films.

The second trailer was decent, the more and more I see of this movie, the more excited I get. However, in my opinion, the special effects have ALOT of work to be done. I'm sure they can fix it by the time the movie is out though.

I know we're getting off topic here, but I'll be brief. That was indeed one of the best fights but try just focusing on what Obi-Wan does in the fight* and ignoring the rest. I comes off pretty obviously as choreographed, like a dancer going through his paces. Maul had the best ability to make his moves seem instinctual and improvised rather than planned out ahead of time.

Ok, side-bar over. Back to GL.

*I'm talking about the actual fight rather than that GIF.

Hal's body kind of flops around like a rubber fish after Sinestro hits him. That's the only shot that looked off to me, at least on first viewing. Still don't get the hate for Lively but whatever.

Not sure I'm 100% happy with MCD voicing Kilowog. He sounds ok, but I find myself thinking "hey, it's MCD!" when I'd rather be thinking "Boy Kilowog sounds badass."

He looks like he should sound like someone but I'm not sure who, exactly.

Overall it looks pretty freakin awesome. What a great year for superhero movies.

That's a trademark feature of Sony Imagework's CGI. They haven't progressed from Spider-Man 2 in that respect.

i agree. its something money and team can nto fix. Sonyiamgeworks is the problem they will always have a big problem with weight. why? god knows......only god knows.

i dont like Lively in the trailers. but i did like the '' no problem'' line. very funny. her face was also funny.

I just took it as one of those uncanny valley things that's probably super difficult to get right. Stuff like that is really the only time CG work really sticks out to me.

After he makes a sword and Sinestro gives his "Oh, how human" line, I hope in the movie Hal comes back with "Ok, you're such hot stuff. show me something alien" or some comeback to that effect and then Sinestro actually DOES show us something that is amazing in it's uniqueness and seeming like no earthly mind could have conjured something like this up. Of course that means that the filmmakers would have needed to wrack their brains to give us that something new. Hopefully they did, because otherwise that line's just gonna hang in the air for me with no pay off.

The new trailer is obviously better than the first. Can't wait for this film because it actually looks epic.

Don't know how it will be quality wise because I obviously haven't seen it but this is what Superman should have looked like...

The special effects are what they are. WB/DC has decided to keep working with Sony Image Works and thats that. Obviously they aren't ILM or Weta but there seem good enough to me.

I can tell the nit-picking police aren't going to stop though...the same people who enjoyed those awful Thor trailers.
