OFf topic, but this weekend's Brave and the Bold features Bats and Jordan taking on Star Sapphire. Curious to see how they portray her.

Am I the only one who loves MCD's voice as Kilowogg without reservation? Sure, it's most definitely MCD and he makes no attempt to disguise his voice, but considering that I associate MDC with badassery in films, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I know we all hear the voice of a character differently in my head, but I always read the comics with Duncan's voice in my mind when it came to Kilowogg in particular.

As far as the rest of the trailer...even if the movie ultimately sucks, Campbell, the design team & co have crafted some fascinating alien designs. Come on, a jellyfish Lantern? That's awesome! It's like a huge toy box of weird, slightly off-kilter designs, and it's something I've never seen in a superhero film before.

And Sinestro's line about swords being "so human" was hilarious.

I'm with ya. MCD sounds perfect for Kilowog.

Also, i love how energy flows from his emblem to his ring and he gives a concentrated energy blast.

Damn, the Guardians look incredible. It still blows me away that they managed to make a real, honest-to-god Green Lantern movie with little blue men, fish-bird aliens, Parallax, Sinestro, and they didn't turn it into some stupid comedy.

I didn't believe it could happen. Now all that win and awesome is just a month away. Blows my mind.

i really like the involvement of the corps and the guardians; it very much has a grand feel to things.

I think it parallels these shots from Emerald Dawn where Hal absorbs the power (which was the basis for the original screen play) just substitute Legion for the movie version of Parallax..

This is where Hal looks at the Guardian and says "Help me save my planet... "And they look indifferent.

Legion crawling all over the place...

Hal recognizes and overcomes his fears...

Where he absorbs the power, despite Sinestro's warning...

Great trailer. Hit all the right beats it was suppose to. Visually amazing. The Sinestro sword part made me most excited.

And lively still isn't that bad. And this is coming from the person who was against her casting in the first place.

Yeah, what's up with that? It seems weird that the Guardians would be out in the open.
