dnno1 added trailers to the runtime. :awesome::bow::bow:

I know that someone quoted a 117 minute time with trailers and somebody else said that on average trailers run 5 minutes (although I think that period is longer - more like 15 minutes). I am not really interested in proving anybody wrong here only that your calculations or estimates are only as good as the data you start from (getting numbers from the BBFC might be more reliable than deriving them from a theater listing on Fandango -not very accurate or reliable). In truth I understand that the European film formats might be longer than in the United States (I am not sure of that). It would be better if we bounce the run-time against a U.S. film organization.

"By my calculations, if you factor in a shower, getting dressed, the drive to the theater, and time spent waiting in line getting popcorn this film should be over three hours long!" :awesome:

They didnt confirm anything.

BBFC or other similar rating boards are the only way to confirm running times before a movie is released, unless a studio press kit goes out first

I meant the allocine site, considering how often they have the right info.

You mean the site that says that the film is going to be distributed by Paramount Pictures UK and also says that there will be a GL 2 and 3 in 2012 and 2013 respectively? I don't think so.

The suit looks fantastic. I've been sold on this film for a while but these stills seal the deal.

Green Lantern is going to work.

BBFC are always correct about runtimes

Period.

Yup BBFC is as official as they come. Thor was rumored to be 2hr 10 min until the BBFC announced the official running time of 115 min.

Just saw this Standee at the theater last night. Pretty awesome! My theater seemed to have quite a bit of Green Lantern stuff. I rarely see two very big standees for the same film there.

Also yeah, that new picture of Hal holding Carol: Fantastic. Definitely looks real.

That's why it's called a featurette :oldrazz:
I learn to never watch one before a film comes out after I made that mistake with Terminator Salvation.

I usually also never watch them, that's why I was surprised in how much footage was shown.

Wow the suit looks absolutely fantastic in the new stills released. Green Lantern is shaping up to be real good.
Also, great news on the runtime. Now it feels like it wil be a 2 hour film.
Can't wait. 2 more weeks and we will finally be having a Green Lantern movie.

if you ignore he fingers touching Blake's arm. fake CGI shadow added in post. lets also not ignore the fact that the GL symbol on the chest is glowing and emiting light. light that is NOT looking right on the dress and arm.

hey they have my ticket and i will enjoy the movie. but lets not be in denial. it looks fake.

The suit (and especially the mask) hasnt looked better.

However i'm more partial to the shots where the suit's all charged up with energy. I bet Geoff Johns is so happy that he's having multiple orgasms every time he watches one of the trailers.

You lost me here. The part of the dress reflecting light is right on top of the suit's brightest portion.
