Comics Official JEAN GREY/PHOENIX Discussion Thread

OK!!!!!!!!!first of all storm is my all tiem 1st fav character and jean is second and YES!!!!it hasnt been tha same without our jeanie but i just saw a preview of uncanny x-men #503 and there is a red head in there with green eyes shes wearing black so could this be jean?????i hope so im gonna go check this comic out and i think u all should to cuz if its jean my god i would be so happy and storm of course would to lol but yea i cant wait to see if its jean or not
As much as Id love Jean to be coming as soon as UXM #503, they wouldnt be that blatantly obvious about it and if they were, they'd promote the hell out of it. Nah its either Maddie or some other red herring.

Saw the advanced copy of Uncanny X-Men #503

And the Red Queen is...
Madelyne Pryor. So far the revealed members of the Sisterhood are Lady Mastermind/Martinique, Chimera, and Maddie. The Sisterhood also has some way to bring people back to life so that is probably how Maddie is back.

Maddie has a very small role in Uncanny 503 though. Posing as Emma she has a kinky astral encounter with Scott. Then at the end she shows up at the Dazzler concert where the X-Men are and Scott sees her.

wow thats amazing
my second favorite redhead is back
is there any word as to how big a role (if any) she's going to play in the Inferno2(infernus) story with Magik?

There had better be a good explanation for this. And I don't mean "She's a bad guy because she was evil once for about 5 minutes while under someone else's influence."

ya, there should be a good explanation for her being on a team of villains
i'm guessing that it's got something to do with Lady Mastermind (dark phoenix-esque manipulation anyone??!?)

I'll keep an eye out for it.

Anyone else ever get the feeling that the current Marvel staff just doesn't like Jean for whatever reason?
