[Nature's Rising]

I'm also a big supporter of Jean without PF. Plus, she looks hotter with her classic Uncanny costume. The PF made her a walking plotkiller, and having her incinerate the X-Men's foes without any action and suspense makes her deserving of not ever returning. Unless of course, Jean with the pink motif comes back.

I love these shots of Jean by Pacheco. He's probably one of my favorite Jean artists, if not my favorite. i really loved how he drew her classic blue/gold costume

That blue and gold costume has been the best one Jean has ever worn. It is very classic.

It sure was but I also REALLY loved her blue/gold costume that preceeded it in X-factor. That ranks up there as one of my favorite costumes, especially drawn by Portacio. It was a bit cheesy to give her and Scott matching costumes, but it looked great on both of them

i would love to see a Jean and Stormy friendship reunion again as well.. i hope you don't mind i call her that.. because i loved calling storm, stormy
as a nickname.


Also Havok, lol the days when the X-family was truly a family. The X-men I always loved.

and i love when Jean and storm's friendship as well as their characters as well as i love the rest of the X chararacters or family.
Also i not sure which issue #28 or 30. which i have that issue and loved that issue i haven't read that issue in sometime when Scott Lobdell was the writer on that book.

But if you have that issue Havok may you please scan some of the pictures showing Jean saying your firecracker creed and i'm an atom bomb? It would be much appreciated.

lol..I actually hve it on my pc already. Its from #28 and Nicieza wrote it. Jean kicked Sabe's butt!

Yeah that's the issue i have, and i loved that issue when i first bought it in the 90's, now i have to get that out of one of my comic defense boxes and find it, and read that issue again. My comic issues i read them once or twice, so they stay in good condition when i bag and board them in put them away in my comic defense boxes.
But i'll just be careful when i get that out tonight when i get it out and read it again.

Precisely i agree Javon that's how i like Jean powerful but not over powerful, because it dilutes her character by taking away from her being true to her character. That's the Jean Grey i always loved being powerful but not too powerful and showed she had a heart. :heart:

X-Men 28 is one of my fave Jean stories ever, not only she stands up to Sabes, she stands up to Charles in that issue.

Yeah, I've always missed that tough Jean without PF storylines. And the blue gold uniform of hers is just so awesome. And Pacheco does the great Jean too. I love this costume and I always prefer her pink motif than the fire motif anytime. How I pray for a real reunion of the girls with Jean, Storm, Rogue and Psylocke. Ah, classic times, classic times.

When Jean is inevitably brought back I want it to be the final rebirth,the Phoenix's last gift to her. I want her to be Phoenixless forever and rely only on her own abilities. And I want Jean to see this new lfie for what it is, her last chance at life. After this, no more rebirths, no more resurrections. I want her to work out all the stupid things in her life like Scott and Wolverine and focus on her own life and dedicate herself to Xavier's dream. If they have to give her a romantic interest I would like it to be Angel, Beast or Bobby.

Angel I can go for but I cant ever see her with Beast or Bobby. She always had more of a motherly type relationship with Bobby and it would be weird to see that line crossed as it would with Beast. She and Warren have some history so it wouldnt be out of the blue for them

I dont think so bc the white costume represents as Phoenix to her full potential. Its only made a handful of appearances and thats makes it that more special
