Awesome dude, how was Zelda? What was the 3D effect like? Just as seamless as they say?
 
took a second to get used to it for each game but was very easy and yeah it was seemless, looked fantastic. i was on the fence about it (especially with the announcement of the new psp) but I totally want one now!!! damn being a poor student

i only got a couple mins on zelda, was good, but just like zelda in 3d to be honest

was very impressed with street fighter, it was like having little initures fight in your hand, easily had the best 3d effect, its hard to describe how good it was!

Does Street Fighter look like the scene in Star Wars: A New Hope where Chewie and 3P0 are playing that chess like game?

errrm no... not really

i didnt try the dynamic camera just the normal

best i can describe it is like two little models fighting....so kinda like star wars haha

its so hard to describe...VERY cool



also at the evnt they had 2 people dressed as ryu and ken fighting

and a res evil section we had to walk through with zombies



I felt very out of place with all the stereotypical geek types there, had a good time though



oh and nintendo is hiring some very very hot women for this
 
I'm trying to decide if I want to rebuy a Wii... or just save the cash for a 3DS. I'm leaning slightly toward the 3DS...
 
go 3ds...I rarely play my wii, if they released mario kart on the 360 i think the only time i would touch it is when a new zelda came out

Eh, what is it that makes you want to get a Wii again? I literally see nothing on the horizon that makes me want to keep it (including Zelda, unfortunatly I think I'm done with Zelda), and I have barely touched the thing all year. I was very close to selling mine towards a Playstation Move, but the Mrs. wants to keep the Wii around for the guests who don't come very often.
 
Wow! I can't believe another DS is coming out. We finally just bought the kids the DSi and now there is a new one out. Hopefully they can be satisfied for a while. Can't wait to check out the new features on it though!
 
i know my parents go tmy sister a dsi XL for xmas! wish they had told we i woulda warned the a new one was out soon
 
Decided to wait a bit... The lackluster launch line up was pretty much the major reason for my decision.
 
Yeah, that is a good idea. Maybe it is good that we didn't get the new ones. Seems like that stuff always has bugs at first.

While Nintendo may not put out the most powerful hardware, they're pretty damn good at putting out some of the most reliable.
 
so which games are you guys going to get? I kinda want to test out a game in 3D
 
None of them. I'll wait for Mario Kart 3DS, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising, the new Paper Mario game, Resident Evil: Revelations, and New Super Mario Bros. 2. That particular launch line up is crap.
 
If I were to buy it then pro eve

Would be tempted by street fighter cause it looked so damn amazing but I already have it on 360 and iPhone and I don't play it that much on those

Based on the 3d demos I saw starfox looks amazon so I would wait for that and mario kart
 
I'm really hoping the stores will get 3DS kiosks soon... I wanna see it in person.
 
I decided to also wait. Let the Soccer moms & what not get it for their kids first while most of us will be waiting for games for it
 
i'm getting it, until the 3DS XL (or the next bigger version) comes out, than I will sell it and buy the new one, now biggie
