Ah! You totally threw me off haha! You had me thinking OoT came out today but it doesn't until Sunday in the states. Oh well, I can wait to have my soul crushed in public by the Water Temple...in 3D. :awesome:

haha, sorry buddy - im loving it, brings back so many memories, but its been long enough that i cant just automatically go from a to b - inside Jabujabu already....think i might need to slow down

Can't wait to pick mine up tomorrow. I've beaten Ocarina about 8 times, but it's been about 4-5 years since I've last played it. Plus I'm looking forward to playing as Link without the Wicked Witch of the West nose.

Just picked up Ocarina of Time 3D and the nostalgia is in full effect. I'm going to be breaking it down today like it's Christmas 1999. :woot:

Btw, anybody have luck with getting the OoT soundtrack from Club Nintendo? I think it's sold out. :csad:

I registered my copy just now. I think you're supposed to get a pop-up as you do it, but I didn't. I sent an email since I just got a machine on the phone. I better get a CD since that was the only reason I got it today (when I don't have a 3DS yet). Especially since I left a penmark on the case as I was trying to open it :cmad:

I was looking at the site earlier and it said you just register, complete the survey and then it'll take you to a page for the CD. If that didn't work they must be out already :(

I registered it and did the survey but alas, no pop up or any sort of notification. :csad: It's a bummer but I think I'll manage, haha. It's just extremely nice of Nintendo to actually give out a physical soundtrack rather than a simple download.

Yeah, I think it's pretty nice of them to do the whole Club Nintendo thing. Get some pretty cool stuff just for registering your games? I got both the Mario and Zelda poster sets just for registering the games I would buy no matter what.

It is a really cool program. I've spent my coins on a calendar a few years back and recently I got a reversible DS pouch that fits my 3DS perfectly. Looking forward to what rewards they have for "Elite" members.

Also, anybody come across any Skyward Sword easter eggs in OoT 3D yet?

Just an update. If nobody got a pop-up or notification in regards to the free OoT soundtrack then I'd recommend calling Nintendo at 1 (800) 255-3700 and give them your Club Nintendo account info.

Pretty much there is a high volume of people registering their games and it's causing the site to bug up. Just a heads up!

i started playing Zelda 3D on the 3DS, but it's so comfortable. Is there an attachment that i can put on the system so i can have a better grip.

I have a question for the 3ds owners.
Is it normal that the part where the 3D Screen is wobbles a little bit up and down when it´s open?.....Or must it be totally stiff?

It's a wee bit wobbly and every 3DS owner I know has mention it but it doesn't really bother me.

The top screen on my original DS does that... but only if I'm moving it around. Hold it still and it won't move.

I checked out the one from my Cousin and it doesn´t has the wobble.
I think i will send mine back and get another one.It really bothers me when i play Games where i have to move the DS.

mine has a little wobble, not as bad as the first one i had though - the problem is with the tight ones is that there is a greater chance the hinges will crack which is even more annoying in the long run - depends how much it wobbles really

Little wobble is normal but mine does it when i even move my Console a little bit up and down....and it seems to get worse.

Pretty much like this..

I still want one of these really bad. Too bad I'm super ****ing broke

I'm just gonna wait until this fall when Mario Kart and SM3D are out. Maybe they'll do a Mario Kart bundle like they did with the original DS.

There's a ton of stuff coming out this fall though... Star Wars Blu-Ray, Jurassic Park Trilogy BR, The Lion King re-release, Skyward Sword... plus a few others I can't think of right now.

Im so tempted to get one of these, one of my friends who I work with brought it in for our shift and we were so close to beating Zelda. I most likely will get one of these before summer ends.

guys, i registered my copy of Zelda OoT 3D today, will i get the CD? I mean, i bought the game from Amazon, on release date, but i was only abloe to register today, so will i get the music CD?

I've beaten OOT about a dozen times and it is hands down the best game ever made. I can play it 3 or 5 years later since my last play through Hyrule and despite the graphics or technical aspects becoming dated, it is still a game with endlessly entertaining gameplay with a scope and fairy tale like story that is magical in the same way certain Disney films never age.

With that said, I may get a 3DS in a year or so--more for Resident Evil Revelations--because my last handheld was Gameboy Color and I'm not a fan of the medium. But OOT on 3DS looks like gaming bliss and joy. I especially love the Robin Williams commercials with his daughter that I have seen. What I'm most interested in seeing is how the next generation of young gamers react to this game. It blew my little mind in 1998, but an entire generation of kids have gotten into gaming without playing it. I'd be interested to hear from one who hasn't played the masterpiece of gaming before now.

I've been playing it and the graphics are so much better compared to the N64. I don't have the 3D effects on (I don't have a high tolerance for them to begin with, but I turn it up when I get a new item (looks cool when Link holds it up) and during cutscenes.

The controls have a slight learning curve but you get used to it easily. Some notable changes are that the Iron Boots and Hover Boots aren't on the Gear page but can be assigned to "C buttons" (like the Iron Boots were in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess). The "C buttons" in this are the X and Y and 2 touchscreen buttons (called I and II). I usually have the Longshot and Bow on X and Y and other items (boots, Lens of Truth, bombs, etc) on I and II since they're not used as frequently.

The Water Temple is slightly easier since the pathways to the markers to raise the water are noted as are the height the water will change to. Fishing is harder (or more frustrating).

The Ocarina is on a permanent touch screen button in the bottom left. You can play songs with the touch screen or buttons. What's really good is you can have the songs notes on the bottom screen so you don't have to memorize them. What I didn't like was I couldn't memorize them well. I know what all of them are on the N64 but the button layout didn't translate well to the 3DS. For example, Zelda's Lullaby is LURLUR on the N64. On the 3DS, it's XAYXAY (if they were C buttons, it'd be URLURL). But it doesn't hurt the game itself.

I actually read a really funny comment on GameFAQs. Someone complained that they went from the Shadow Temple to Ganon's Castle without saving. They shut it off and resumed at the Shadow Temple. Stupid kids so used to autosaves in CoD.

Those who registered it by 6/20 were guaranteed to get it. After that it's first come, first serve. I wouldn't count on it. But there will be torrents up online later.

I don't know if it's been posted here, but the E3 Resident Evil Revelations Trailer:

Now that looks like an awesome return to classic RE. I wish/hope it goes to Wii, as it looks like a Wii-capable and great.
