One thing that intrigue me is that Toei is looking to deviate from the traditional tokusatsu superhero show.

Because when we think of "Tokusatsu" , our mind must be immediately thought of "Armored henshin (transformed) heroes" like Kamen Rider, Space Sheriff, Super Sentai, and Ultraman. But with Shirakura-shi mentioning Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man, we could potentially seeing something new, fresh, and different within the Tokusatsu world beyond "Armored heroes".

I am really exciting to see this new project unfolds in the years to come

Yeah, based on the announcement I saw, I do wonder if they are going to move away from 50 episodes for the second show. Ultraman does a yearly release with 25, which I imagine would help with experimentation, since being locked into 50 episodes can make one be really scared of rejection.

Kamen Rider is obviously going nowhere for a while as they test out this new thing.

I think when the show finally airs, I think we should make a different thread because the new series is technically not part of Super Sentai series, and thus not part of Power Rangers series anymore.

Just like Kamen Rider so we can talk weekly after each episode drops...there is an official Toei English announcement for this Project R.E.D. so, I strongly believe this show will also broadcast simultaneously in the US (i think we just have to wait the official trailer for the confirmation)
