So what is the level of graphic quality on this thing? Between PS2 and PS3, or closer to the latter?

Yeah i'd say the graphics are between a PS2 and a PS3 game but i think it's like a very low quality game with mediocre PS3 graphics. But i have a feeling that will change as we see more better and better games coming soon. Uncharted looked okay. It wasn't as great as a lot of people were saying it was... or atleast that's what i thought but it still looked good enough to differentiate itself from a PSP game or a PS3

Also, am I the only one who thinks that Golden Abyss actually looks a lot better than Drake's Fortune? The character models are a bit weird but the enivronment's carry Among Thieves' detail, if not quite its level of smoothness.

I took that in game shot (Home Button and Start at the same time). It's a beautiful game. Even better in motion.

Has anyone else had any freezing issues when trying to connect to a Wifi? my Vita has done that twice already and has frozen spontaneously once. I hope i didn't get a faulty unit.

No freezing with WiFi, but I had a heck of time trying to get the 3G data set up. Get half way done, freeze, start over. That happened three times. Got a third of the way done, freeze, start over. Two times. All the way to the end and hit submit, freeze, start over.. Twice. Not sure if it was the sucky browser the Vita has or just AT&T being AT&T. Just glad I can go through my PC and add a plan, if I ever want to that is.

Got my 3g model with Uncharted today, haha.

AMAZING little system. Party Chat is superb.

Everytime I go there it says service is down for maintenance. Which, could be a good sales.

IA with this. I just came back from playing Modnation Racers and it looks way better on the PS3. You can defiently see the difference with that title as well

FYI, for those looking for a great PSP game to play on their Vita, I recommend Valkyria Chronicles 2. The bundle including DLC is only $22.49 on the store. It's a limited time sort of thing so jump on it. I loved the first one (PS3). I mean really loved it and recommend it as well. The second one seems to be just as good (I just started it).

Golden Abyss looks much better than any PS2 game I've ever played. It seriously looks as good as Uncharted.

This is a good turn based indie game well suited for handheld devices.
It's kind of like the planning phase of Rainbow 6 if it was turned into a full game.

So have you guys tried remote play? Impressions? Does video quality look great on movies bc it was slow and less res on the PSP. Is gaming smooth and does that look good?

You're able to play this thing on a big screen via an hdmi hookup, right? That would be the true graphics test.
