Yeah!!! The dvd is on sale in my country now. I bought the 2 disc special edition (too bad it's not the battle within cover) and even got an umbrella as a free gift. It's nice to watch this movie again. And the special features are surprisingly interesting.

I want to ask something though. How many version of this dvd are available? The menu of my dvd is different from what is posted. It is not animated and only has Spidey on top of a building.

That blooper reel with the butler furthered my belief that Raimi must have lost a bet to someone.

You can ever hear Raimi placate him whenever he screws up his lines ("That's ok, you're doing fine").

I actually don't have much of a problem with the butler scene, but you have to wonder why he decided to expand that character's role.

-What the final battle in Spider-Man 1 was originally going to be
-Where sandman's grunts were from
-How high sandman gets
-who is really "dead"
-If James wants to come back again
-Topher's opinion of Eddie dying and the logic behind it
-Could Venom come back?
-Whose idea it was to have sandman blowing away in the wind
-How much went into shooting the final battle

and Raimi was saying how "proud" he was of his daughter acting in that scene when she is giving the cam to Jameson for $100
and Raimi was also saying that the butler (Bill Paxton's father) was a great actor who did his best acting in the film (and it seems to disagree with the bloopers)
I think they said that some of the venom sounds were taken from a tasmanian devil
and they also mentioned Tobey was gonna have a baby when they were filming the part where Peter pulls Eddie out of the symbiote and throws the bomb.
The film was completed in less than a week before the Japan premiere
and Sam wanted all the characters from all 3 movies in the funeral scene
