Official Spider-Man 3 Soundtrack/Music Thread!

Does anyone remember how near to the release date they brought out the spider-man soundtrack songs (nickleback, switchfoot, ana johnson, train etc)? because if i remember correctly it couldn't of been too far off 3 months

about a month before the movie comes out they'll release the soundtrack track list with the single.

If your talking about the song that was played in the last trailer it was 'Trinity' by James Dooley

Having in mind the last two soundtracks, we could wait for some emo,rock, "bands of the moment", like Fall Out Boy and stuff.
It would be bad want a Evanescence song on this?

Fallout Boy have been going for ages, I can't see them on this soundtrack. I see a band like Madina Lake on here. Evanesence probably not, they have basically been put on every other marvel soundtrack

About Fall Out Boy, Hoobastank was going for a long time and is present in the S-M2 soundtrack. I nver heard about Medina Lake, is it good? And Evanescence, if they wann make a sad song they can count the in. Its a much darker movie, and I could see that working.

Something DARK. I know this wouldn't fit the story, but this is the tone that I think alot of the songs should be in "Through Glass" by Stone Sour. Dark, mournful but not overly depressing...

Well I was suprised to see stone sour's bother get into the first soundtrack, so who knows. It's a bit heavier than Bother so perhaps not

im excited for the new soundtrack.. but expecting songs that are out now.. don't count on it.. for the most part both soundtracks featured new songs... either written for, or inspired by spider-man... yes some were written and out before, very few though and they werent out very long before the movie...

Wolfmother does not sound like a band that would be on a Spidey soundtrack

I could care less who is on the soundtrack. I want the score. I hope that comes out before the movie, unlike with Spidey 2 when it came out a month afterwards.

I love Elfman he is one of my favs, but Young did more of the score for Spidey 2 then people think, and Spidey 2 had a grand score. I think even better then the first *well with the new stuff anyways*

I think people get to hung up on the names of who is composing. Young has a lot of talent and he proved it in Spidey 2.

It will be a grand score, I'm sure.

I don't care if the composers name is Ass Horn, Elfman has made some solid scores and the first spider-man score was fantastic, thats why I want him back

Yes Elfman made solid scores, does that mean others can't give it a try? Young did do the Ock theme for the most part, and that was a superb theme. Young himself has done some great music, that was greatly under appreciated. A lot of the big names don't deserve all the credit. Young worked on Spidey 1 if I'm not mistaken as well.

And all your griping and whining ain't going to bring Elfman back so no point complaining about it now. Unless thats what you like to do.

You can have your opinion. I'm one of the few that respects that. But you used negative slurs in there like "Ass Horn" to try to make your point. So to me your angry pissed and wanting Elfman back. Hence I thought you were whining.

I wish Elfman was back fully too, but I'm not worried about it, I think the score will still be great with Young at the helm.

So if your not whining fine, just find better words to express it. But my apologies.
