That was unreal. For me, Sandman was the icing on the cake. It's easy to see where the money went. I was never a fan of the character and wasn't really looking forward to seeing him as much as I should, till now. I feel sorry for our hero already. How he's going to take him down, I don't know. Either Flint's family will calm him down or Harry, being the head boss of the place which transformed our misunderstood friend that he is, will toss some fancy gizmo at him and therefore, commence the shrinking.
Biggest let-down for me was Venom. I don't like how he looks now, but since we'll see him again in the upcoming trailer pulling our friend in spandex from behind with his hands, assuming that the early reports are legit... yeah, I can't wait. It should be great to watch... and I imagine this is where Raimi might come in and add a dose of his vintage horror directing here.
The aerial and alley fights were glorious. That's all I can say. I could watch them over and over again and still enjoy every minute of it, but I'd rather not get too used to the fights. My only complaint is how Harry went down too easily after all the fancy-schmancy tricks he's dished out at Peter, but I suppose you could argue that he relied on the gadgets a little too much and not enough on his own instincts.
