A lot of the shots in the Smallville Battle video, are not from the Smallville battle.
Which ones? Cause I looked at every trailer in slow motion and scene by scene.

In my scenario, he would be dead, because as I said, he'd return to Krypton and die in its destruction or by Zod's hand.
What's the point of sending him to earth and intentionally staying behind to die on Krypton if you're going to be there to influence your son after all? Wasn't that the whole reason for them staying behind, so he'd be free of kryptonian influence? Jor El being alive invalidates that, at least.
The shot of the landing Black Zero is most likely not from that scene and the reaction shot of Clark is most definitely not. He isn't reacting to the ship's landing but the tornado. That is college age Clark.Which ones? Cause I looked at every trailer in slow motion and scene by scene.
I seriously, seriously, seriously, seriously doubt [BLACKOUT]Ma Kent dies[/BLACKOUT].What I think will happened in Smallville Battle:
- Clark goes back to Smallville
- Zod Lands on Earth
- Superman surrenders to Zod to see what he actually wants
- Zod goes to the Kent Farm and Faora Kills Ma Kent
- Superman takes off to save his mother but fails
- Full on battle in Smallville
- Superman surrenders to authorities
The shot of the landing Black Zero is most likely not from that scene and the reaction shot of Clark is most definitely not. He isn't reacting to the ship's landing but the tornado. That is college age Clark.
The shots of the military and Superman in the desert are a completely different scene and location. Those actually most likely come after, and are the hostage negotiation scenes.
The shots of Lois and Supes, including the handcuff stuff, is again most likely after the scene, but is most definitely a different scene.
Superman in the desert is going to be after he is taken into custody. Why would they shot at him in the battle of Smallville if they know who he is and think he is friendly? Not all scenes are in Smallville but I believe they are in order of sequence
There is every indication that the Battle of Smallville is the first time Earth sees Superman, and why the military are not sure if Superman is a friendly or not. It is why they fire at him.

There are a few reasons that doesn't work for me.I believe that the scene in the desert is the first time he ever shows up in response to Zod's message. All the military people look surprised. Obviously a lot of scenes are going to be missing. After Superman know what Zod's intentions are he resists. So we then cut to Smallville fight. After the fight then the military take Superman in custody and interrogate him.

First off, the shot of Superman behind the glass. His words seem to indicate he doesn't know who Zod is. It just makes more sense for the military to "hand" Superman over to Zod. We know that both Clark and Lois go with Faora to meet with Zod, and that scene takes place in the desert. It makes much more sense if that comes after their first encounter.
If Superman introduces himself to the military before the battle of Smallville, they wouldn't shot at him imo. Especially if he shows himself to be cooperative.
In less then 3 weeks we will know.I just watched all the trailers and I think I know why u think that this does not fit. I still need to add all the scenes from when Clark goes to the Black Zero ship then after that takes place we get to see the smallville fight.
t:The art book confirms that [BLACKOUT]Jor-El dies on Krypton[/BLACKOUT].My theory:
Jor-El is alive, no hologram.
The shot of Clark in agonizing, heartfelt pain could only be from three things - Pa Kent, Jor-El, or Lois getting killed. Eliminate Pa Kent, assuming he dies before Clark becomes Superman. Eliminate Lois because that would be stupid lol. You're left with the most obvious choice, Zod killing Jor-El right in front of him.
There's my 2¢
Was beginning to wonder if they were just only going to pump out action TV spots...
