In less then 3 weeks we will know. :woot:

Yea I guess we will :woot: I just finished editing the Message from Zod,Superman and Lois visit to Black Zero and Dream sequence I will put them up really soon.

The art book confirms that [BLACKOUT]Jor-El dies on Krypton[/BLACKOUT].

I believe that Jor-El is part of the dream sequence.

My theory:

Jor-El is alive, no hologram.
The shot of Clark in agonizing, heartfelt pain could only be from three things - Pa Kent, Jor-El, or Lois getting killed. Eliminate Pa Kent, assuming he dies before Clark becomes Superman. Eliminate Lois because that would be stupid lol. You're left with the most obvious choice, Zod killing Jor-El right in front of him.

There's my 2¢

You honestly don't think he would be deeply hurt if another human was murdered right before his very eyes??? I know I would be...come on now! Let's not be silly. The art book confirmed that Jor-El sacrifices himself for Kal-El

Superman probably would have experience saving pretty much anybody. So if there was someone he couldn't save, he'd take it personally.

yeah...exactly. Like say if Zod snapped the neck of that kid...I'm pretty sure that would get the screaming/hurt response we see in the trailer.

im convinced thats what we're seeing in the train station, supes reaction to seeing zod or faora kill an innocent bystander.
just for sheets and giggles too prolly. kinda like, look at what we can do and you cant stop us.

I have to admit I'm pretty excited by the idea of Jor-El having a large role in this movie. It's an out-of-the-box type move and I'm really interested to see how it plays out. How heartbreaking would it be if Lara was to die alone without her one true love beside her? I do have a soft spot for the classic version of the story where they are both together at the demise of Krypton. At this point I don't quite know how I would feel about a different take. I'm open to being impressed further as I have been with everything about this movie so far.

bingo....either Zod or Faora kill an innocent citizen and it kills Superman inside and he shows his emotions. It's certainly not because Jor-El is on earth and being murdered right in front of Superman. That's not gonna happen

good...I'm glad it's getting out there

I remember like 6 months ago when I was thinking how a MOS tv spot would look on tv and how it would never happen. Now its real and MOS is everywhere!

1) Deeply hurt? Sure. But the emotion he is showing in that shot goes even beyond that.

2) It looks like he is yelling "DAAAAAAD!"

3) I didn't know about that art book, haven't seen it.

No, people think he is screaming dad when he is wearing his sweat shirt (and storyline wise, that probably makes more sense).

I think we are seeing a young child or woman executed.

It'd be even more tragic if Clark's yelling because he honestly believes the killer is better than that, or if one of the Kryptonians shows humanity and is executed for it. Maybe he starts to consider Zod possibly redeemable, only for Zod to show his conditioning is to tough to break and he starts murdering threats, I.e. people. Or maybe this is when Zod saves Faora after she starts to have a a heart.

....no, he's just yelling, you can hear it in that scene, it then cuts to him being choked and shooting heat vision, if you listen carefully you can actually hear the audio switch showing that he's yelling in both scenes.

yep, thats probably where the "DAD" yell is, and I agree about the kid/woman part. He probably just went through hell to save them only to see Zod and/or crew kill them as if they were nothing

you and me both...I'm ecstatic that it's everywhere

He's not shouting "DAAAAD" there...more like "AAAAAGHHH" or what have you. It's just a shout

I have been giving this some thought. The small speech Zod gives about "no matter how violent, every action I take is for the good of my people"....I think he is giving that in front of Jor-El probably before being banished to the phantom zone.

I first thought he was saying it to Supes.

STILL don't get what Lois is doing shooting a spacegun while walking right next to Jor-El!? What's up with that???

I opened a thread about how the story might take place. Go over there to see what u guy think.

My thread was taken down :csad: without an explanation. I did a detailed summery on how the movie was going to go in terms of sequence and the thread was taken out. Maybe I hit the jackpot story wise and it had to be taken down :wow: well if any of u know why it was taken down please let me know.

That would be more tragic than batman!!! he witnessing both of his fathers get killed.

No, I don't think they like random members creating threads. They want stuff to be stuck into particular existing ones..so your story would probably need to be posted, inside spoiler tags, on the Open Superman discussion sticky.
