Brock looked good at the weigh-in but thats just the weigh-in.. I Hope Shane knocks him out and cuts off that stupid tatoo on Brocks chest and keeps it as a souvenir.
Seth Petruzelli was on a local radio show, he sounds pretty cool so i'm pulling for him.
Chris Leben can take such a beating but I hope Akiyama wins it.

I hope it's a long good fight between the 2 monsters, not ending in the 1st or 2nd rd. And some surprises, like maybe Carwin turning the tables on Brock and take him down and GNP him. Brock's not tested yet on his back so maybe Carwin should put him down.

I can't wait to see these 2 giants in the cage together. At the start I thought Carwin might be too much for Brock & end up KO'ing him. However the more I think about it the more I feel Lesnar will be too fast for Carwin & he is just as powerful.

Alot of people are underselling Lesnar's standup, the dude has fought 4 guys thus far & has dropped each of them with one punch. He was unable to finish Mir & Herring however in his first 2 bouts, but I believe he has learnt his lesson in that aspect.

I also feel alot of people are overselling Carwin's takedown defense, the dude was taken down in his first real test by Gonzaga.. fair enough Gonzaga is a Ju-Jitsu beast but he is hardly known for his superb takedowns. If Brock wants this fight to the ground badly enough I think he'll be able to get Carwin down if he wishes.. you don't manhandle an Olympic calibre wrestler & take him down if you don't have awesome wrestling ability.

Carwin has heavy hands, but technically he isn't an outstanding striker. Defensively he is weakest as Gonzaga showed when he rocked Carwin.. & Brock has more power & speed than Gonzaga so I'd expect if Carwin gets caught he'll be in trouble.. as will Lesnar.

Brock's chin seems to be steady enough hes took some decent shots from Couture & Mir, but he hasn't been hit as hard as Carwin could hit him. Carwin's cardio has yet to be tested as I suppose has his chin also, Brock will be hitting him far harder than anyone else hes faced.

Overall my feeling is Brock will beat Carwin, I'm thinking TKO but could well goto a decision if it turns into a wrestling match.

I kinda have to agree with you. The closer this bout comes, the more I think Lesnar will win. I hope Carwin wins though.

Lesnar either catches one in the jaw and goes down while trying to shoot; eats an upper cut in the clinch and drops; or Carwin is able to scramble to the top when they are on the ground and pound him out...

Can someone PM me a link so i can stream the PPV tonight? im not at home and cant order the PPV

Im not too invested either way....I think if anyone has a chance to beat Lesnar its Carwin, but if Lesnar does win what are all the haters going to say about it...when he beat Mir for the second time everyone was "oh but he needs to beat Carwin"

so who will he "have" to fight next to prove himself if he beats Carwin??

A lot of people favor Cain Velasquez as being the one that could stop Lesnar if Carwin fails tonight..

but does it ever stop?? will the UFC audience ever really accept Lesnar after a certain point??

I still think he's gonna get KTFO, but I KINDA want him to win for just that reason. Dude gets hated on WAAAAAAY too much.

Wow. I didn't know Tooksher(sp) was THAT hurt until he tried to stand up & fell.

Is it just me or is the rest of this UFC 116 card is a tad bit lame?

I mean, no disrespect to guys like Leben and Akiyama,...but,...ya know what I mean? :p

"Send him back to Japan." - Chris Leben

Leben better watch out. Last time he was gonna send somebody back to Japan, it didn't work out so good.

Seriously, whats with all the fence grabbing going on tonight?
