Am I crazy, but did anyone else hear Kos say, " I learned how to grasp with the Vaseline in my ass," when he was arguing with the medic?

I think he said he "learned to grasp Vaseline with his ass".. :lmao:

I think it was some sort of joke about the male nurse being gay that kinda fell flat.

They have subtitles for the English guy for nearly everything he says, even though he speaks perfectly good clear & understandable English, but nothing with little comments like this.

Koscheck kinda brought the whole thing on himself, he has been slagging people off for weeks & then he gets mad when someone gives him some back.. If you can't take it, then don't dish it out.

I don't understand why he's talking **** to a medic anyway. Sure, the medic is probably too involved with GSP's team, but there's no point to start talking bad about the guy all of a sudden. Choking him was too far.

Was that a knock on GSP and all the greasing/vaseline rumors?

qft.

Yeah it was a shot at GSP's 'greasegate.'

Cain said that he didn't think Koscheck could beat GSP lol. (for those that don't know, Cain and Kos both train at AKA)

The way Cain said it was more of a praise of GSP being the best than a knock at Koscheck. The weird thing is that usually training camp partners pick their guy no matter what the circumstances. It's no big deal. If he thinks GSP will win it's not like he's dissing Kos to praise GSP.

Dude chooses to act like a 12 year old bully. Not clever, not funny. GSP is going to beat the living hell out of him.

Absolutely. Kos is a giant jackass and proves it week after week. I think he is hoping to be the bad guy ala Tito Ortiz.

Jon Fitch and Jake Ellenberger are fighting at UFC 126. I guess Ellenberger calling out Fitch on Twitter gains him the fight. I'm a big Ellenberger fan, but I think Fitch takes it. Ellenberger just may be the best prospect at welterweight right now, but nobody can stop Fitch except GSP and maybe Kos. Fitch is like a damn machine.

Agreed. Fitch is one of the best wrestlers in that weight class. Boring to watch at times, but he knows his wrestling.

The wild card pick on the show, yet again being submitted by guillotine chock, i say Dana, as the other fighters said, made a mistake putting him back in....

Absolutely. Dane fought his ass off, he shouldve been considered, although he wouldve lost to the Englishman too, imo.

I thought Ellenberger was calling out Shields, not Fitch?

the 125 and 126 cards look really good on paper. Fight for the troops 2 also looks really good, Florian vs Dunham, Guillard vs Edwards, Barry vs Beltran..

Ellenberger/Fitch should be a good fight. Although, I'm pretty sure this is another Fitch decision. He's just the number two guy in that divison.

I thought it was kind of funny when you see GSP just sitting there quietly while there's chaos all around him. Anyone know what his comments were after the fight?

Rumor has it that GSP told Tate that he was not impressed by his performance in the locker room.

From the video I saw, Tate was out of line, but there's no excuse for Kos to do what he did.

Is that PRIDE? I find PRIDE much more entertaining than UFC.

WEC and the Ravens/Falcons game at the same time makes a pretty awesome Thursday for me. It needs to hurry up and get here!

what's the over/under on Faber having a braided hairstyle?

:)

PRIDE was definatly more entertaining & in some respects alot more brutal what with the stomps, knees & soccer kicks.

I still don't understand how they allowed someone to be hit a boot in the face/head while grounded.. but an elbow to the face/head was illegal.

I don't know about anyone else but I'd rather have taken a Jon Jones style elbow to the head than a Shogun style stomp or soccer kick to the head.

On paper UFC122 doesn't look like a glittering card of big names.. I'm thinking though it could be an entertaining one to watch though. There seems to be alot of either fighters who have decent striking or fighters that are prepared to stand with someone who has superior striking to them.

I'm anticipating more than one (T)KO this weekend from the card.
