FPW was pretty good. Better than the Smackdown series. FPW was 2nd only to the Aki-made wrestling/fighting games.

Just FYI, some the match types FPW includes:

-Striking only match
-MMA match
-Octagon Cage MMA match
-BARBWIRE JAPANESE EXPLODING DEATH MATCHES
-Electrified Exploding Cage matches

And Cro Crop. The game has CRO CROP. This game is only $14.99 for the PS2. It's a must freaking buy.

FYI, a little off topic, but THQ is going to release No Mercy for WiiWare with an UPDATED ROSTER.

At midnight, this morning (last night, whatever), I watched Blind Date and guess who went on a blind date and got rejected? Tim Sylvia. Hahaha! Poor dude.

Apparently, to the girl, yes. :o
But the girl was a ho anyway. She lost interest in him when he told her he doesn't drink. He caved though. He drank... to impress her but she ended up not impressed anyway. She told him she wasn't interested in him "sexually" and "physically". Although I am not a fan of his as a fighter, I felt bad for him. :(

I would never drink just to impress a *****y girl like that.

LOL on the Sylvia Blind Date fiasco.

I'm amped for TUF tonight.
It makes me feel wholesome. :)

...if Hughes' guys have to fight each other, I am going to freak.

Another UFC guy was on Blind Date last night. First name Wes. Anyone know of him? I don't know his last name and he doesn't look too familiar to me. Anyway, he's a giant prick.

Looking forward to tonight's episode of TUF.

Wes Simms?....he was in the UFC spotlight (somewhat) a few years back because of his fights with Frank Mir who went on to beat Tim Sylvia for the heavy weight title...

as for him being a giant prick...he was disqualified in what I think was MIR/Simms I for holding on to the cage and raining boots down on Mir's head....hence the controversey surrounding MIR/Simms II

Ha! I hardly know of him but what you describe that... with regards to his disqualification, I can see him doing that. When was the last time he fought (year?) and has he "retired" since?

As for last night's episode of TUF... Mac fought very well and I am glad that he won. I can see him winning it all. He's slightly odd but he fights well.

What do you guys think of the "meeting" of those 2 Team Serra guys with Hughes? Do you think that's necessary?

Last time I saw Simms fight I believe was in 2004 Mir/ Simms II...I don't believe he's retired from fighting but I don't think he's been around the UFC for some time now...

..as for the meeting...I thought it was a bit awkward......and although I understand the hesitancy of these guys to switch over.....you're getting the opportunity to train with Matt freaking Hughes.....if that's the worst thing that happens to you today...*sigh*

Of anyone, I don't get why Mac is on the show. He looks like he should be in UFC already. It was weird though after he ran down his sparring partners as being terrible, he's thanking them all after the fight. It felt a little insincere is all.

I think it was weird seeing the show turn around and Serra and his team looking like *****es.

I think Hughes handled the whole thing quite well. I loved how he eagerly wanted to pick who it would be and Serra is like "go away!"

All the guys live in the same house, but you know what, not everyone is going to win. It had to come down to this. They feel that Serra got them this far and all that but geezus christ, that's Matt ****ING Hughes you are talking to. Just roll with it, and you will get what you put into it. Hughes isn't a dick and he's not going to try and sabotage your "team", because either way everyone has to fight each other at the end. Hughes even said he wanted to train the people Serra thought was weakest so they'd have a better chance against Serra's favorites.

To me, it looked like after the whole show of Serra making Hughes look like a fool, Serra couldn't handle the fact that after dominating the Hughes team, his team would have to fight each other.

Be prepared Serra. Hughes is going to rip your arm off and take it home with him!

I don't get why they were all whining about having to go to Hughes. Yeah, I get that Serra helped get em there but Hughes was a champion they should be willing to take any opportunity to work with someone else and learn something.

If it was me I'd jump at the chance at trying to train with both coaches.

Serra's gotten it into their heads that they are his boys, and Hughes is a terrible coach. Hughes might not be the best coach for them, but they should still take it and see what they can learn, even if Hughes is not the right coach for them.

The only thing about Hughes is that he looks like he overworks his guys to the point of exhaustion and injury.

Remember that challenge from season 2? The other coach just forfeited after Hughes' boys killed themselves.

And he'll still be one after he destroys Serra. But he will be the one who will have destroyed Serra.

Mac put on a pretty impressive show tonight.

Mac is the 'bird feeder weirdo' right? I can't remember all their names this season, but that guy is a real moody, arrogant prick. I was hoping the other guy whipped his ass last night. All he talks about is how much experience he has, blah,blah,blah....

You're right. It was him on the Blind Date show. With the attitude he showed on that show, it's hard for me to believe that he's not longer single (if he's not).

I thought it was odd. And unnecessary.

I agree with you. Not much else for me to add on that post.

We really don't see much of the training sessions this season, do we? It's more about the drama that goes on in that house.
"The birds and animals stays away from his house because of the negative energy. That's why the hummingbirds didn't come. And I build them such a nice feeder too."
*Okay, that's not exactly what he said but when he said that, I am reminded of Snow White somehow. *

Remember that challenge from season 2? The other coach just forfeited after Hughes' boys killed themselves.
Too long ago so I can't remember.

Hey, at least he delivers. I can turn a blind eye to his "prickness" if he fights well and he did fight well. What I can't stand are guys who just talk a lot of crap but when they get into the octagon, they wimp out. Or don't try hard enough.

And he'll still be one after he destroys Serra. But he will be the one who will have destroyed Serra.
Great. Now you've just jinxed him! :(

It was on the toughest moments of TUF not long back.

DBella. It is OK to believe that Matt Hughes is going to rip off Serra's arm and take it back home with him. Because not only is it possible, it is inevitable.

Yeah, Hughes is taking Serra, no doubt about that. I don't like Hughes, but he'll get the title back, just to get his a** handed to him by GSP, or someone else.

Personally, WHEN Hughes wins the title back, I'd like to see Jon Fitch get a shot....unless of course the Hughes St Pierre re rematch is slated for Montreal :)...in which case..I'm going!!
