Also at the end of this show, Matt Hughes will be LICKING Serra's tears of sadness.
Personally, WHEN Hughes wins the title back, I'd like to see Jon Fitch get a shot....unless of course the Hughes St Pierre re rematch is slated for Montreal...in which case..I'm going!!
Believing is one thing but making an announcement of my belief before the bout... that's another. Yes, I'm stupidly superstitious like that.It was on the toughest moments of TUF not long back.
DBella. It is OK to believe that Matt Hughes is going to rip off Serra's arm and take it back home with him. Because not only is it possible, it is inevitable.
I REALLY want to see a GSP vs Hughes rematch (again). But first I'd like to see GSP vs Penn. Darn, there are so many good fighters in that weight class that it's quite impossible for me not to drool at a lot of the possibilites of match-ups.Yeah, Hughes is taking Serra, no doubt about that. I don't like Hughes, but he'll get the title back, just to get his a** handed to him by GSP, or someone else.
Bisping will be fighting Evans, right? That should be interesting. Hey, maybe we should do Pick a Winner type of thing. Someone post the fight card for UFC 78 and we pick who we think will win.Anyone watch 78 Countdown? I got to say, Bisping is a lucky man.
Matt Hughes isn't that much bigger than Serra, is he? I thought Hughes looks pretty short too.I actually really like Matt Serra as a person. Yes he has small man syndrome, but, he comes across as far less of a dick to me than Hughes and a far better coach. I'd love him to upset the bookies and beat Hughes.

As for Team Hughes' bad performance this season, do you think it's due to bad coaching or that the people he picked are just not good fighters and don't have the personality of a fighter (eg. not listening to him)? His team did well when he coached in Season 2.

What's your pick for the fight card, Whirly? And do you pick winners because you like their personality or because you like how they fight? I like Bisping as a fighter (the only fighter I like with regards to personality is GSP), but I'm going with Evans in this fight.I've met Bisping, he's a nice guy.
I don't mind (nor would I be suprised) if he did. I like both Evans and Bisping actually.I think Bisping may suprise you.

Thanks for posting the fight card, ROOR.

O come on! Don't be a party pooper and tell us your pick.I think MMA is usually very difficult to call in comparison to Boxing. So I keep my own counsel. Seriously who expected Captain America to do what he did last time? Or the decline of Ortiz when he was at his peak.
I agree over GSP though he comes over well.

Maybe now he'll prove you wrong again?Hey no problem. I'm not picking anyone against Alexander anymore, he's proven me way wrong one too many times already. Actually I think I'm looking forward to that fight more than the main event. I was kind of disappointed in Bisping's last fight.
I can't remember what she looks like. Pic?I am really looking forward to Bisping/Evans. And damn, Bisping's girlfriend is really hot. Smoking hot.
Hey, FA... did you post at the Valboard MMA thread yet? I've not checked.Michael Bisping (15-0) v Rashad Evans (15-0-1)

Bisping's last fight was the reason I didn't pick him this time. He has so much potential that guy and I'm hoping that he was as disappointed as you and I are that he'll fight better against Evans.
